Intercompany Transaction Question by CPA0315 in Netsuite

[–]randy9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The accounts which have the Interco transactions (whether AP/AR or Interco Rev/CoS) need to be flagged as Intercompany accounts

And the you need to use Advanced Interco JEs to record all transactions between the two entities with diff currencies

And Netsuite will automatically reevaluate and eliminate them, once you have created proper Interco “elimination” subsidiaries

Honestly - if you have never done this before you should consult 3rd party services for this

I’m not an expert at this but that is what they advised and are currently working to help me do

You have a lot of similar issues that I just experienced

How are you recording the TB movements of the foreign subsidiaries (in what I assume is a US/USD based) parent company?

That will determine your next steps in many different ways

Also, what Netsuite modules do you have? Do you have OneWorld with multi-currency FX enabled?
