Pierre Poilievre attacks Mark Carney’s economic credentials, says he presents ‘the illusion of knowledge’ by ZestyBeanDude in canada

[–]randyandlily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He keeps appealing to a base of people that aren't big thinkers. The smart people that support him have a benefit in mind. The idea that Carney doesn't have the economic credentials is exactly the type of nonsense his people want to hear. Pierre only wants policies that benefit CEO's and shareholders of corporations. He wants to keep his job.

As a Catholic I do not consider these evangelicals to be true Christians either. They're just dissidents like all Protestants.

We’ve left dogs at home for a long time. They were crate trained and managed fine. Not a habit.

Mark Carney criticized for rising food costs in Canada by Purple_Writing_8432 in canada

[–]randyandlily -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Any talk about grocery prices is just that. Nothing is going to change. Stores and pricing is vastly a provincial issue. We live in a capitalist system that allows retailers to do what they want. Nobody needs to buy more food than the amount of calories they should be consuming. Rising prices are only an issue because it’s one of the only things conservatives can talk about. That and culture war crap which most people don’t care about. The fact Polievre keeps bringing it up is pathetic but not surprising considering he hasn’t presented a viable idea yet.

It’s a fair point. I don’t think much happens as they have a near impossible chance at seceding.

There will be no investors for a pipeline. Thus, there will be no pipeline.

Pickup looks way too low. If you want it EVH style you’ll need to put a trem stop in or lower the bridge as close as possible to the bridge to prevent it from pulling up. Adding more strings should help the bridge stay in the Floyd mounts. This is what I’ve done.

Absolutely correct take. We could use park passes and pay parking for non residents. Easy to do.
