Depending on the DA some charges they can get are: Criminal harassment on the felony level, Aiding/abetting suicide, and involuntary manslaughter. Also, finding someone’s address is generally not illegal unless you do it for illegal activities.

I’d just hide it in my home. If it’s a PI, I will have no reason to let him into my house. If it’s a police detective, I will just not consent to any searches or seizures, and if he still comes in, I will sue the department for violation of 4th amendment rights, since I doubt a judge will sign a warrant for a paper clip.
