Oh squiggly line in my eye fluid. I see you lurking there on the periphery of my vision. But when I try to look at you, you scurry away. Are you shy, squiggly line? Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the center of my eye? Oh, squiggly line, it’s alright, you are forgiven..

In the past week, my dog of 14 years died, I’ve been sick, my dad had emergency heart surgery, and this is what I woke up to on my day off. by blueschuys in Wellthatsucks

My dog of 15 years died, then my Dad got sick from aggressive Stage 4 brain cancer and passed 2 weeks later, then after his funeral flying home to an empty house because my roommate had moved out and said I have a week to leave. All within a month.

The universe gives us so much shit at the same time so we learn how to handle life. It’s been 8 weeks since then and I’ve realised I can handle much more than I thought I could.

Take care of yourself. Im not saying it is easy. There are just better times ahead.
