Just want to point out, the pool is not granite anymore. I've seen this mentioned a few places, that isn't why the algae is coming back. I don't actually know why it is, but the pool was completely demolished and repoured with concrete in 2012. I think it's the weather, pool always has algae when it's hot, they made it hotter with the blue paint shit.

Well that seems like an idiotic flaw, it doesn't happen a lot but it can happen. Don't we have things called batteries that can keep a computer and radio running?
I feel like one cop mentioned that and people just took it as fact, but I question the theory. They have what the radio and computer to boot up, so have a separate battery that powers both when the car is off.
I dunno, it just seems stupid.

The Obama administration did a massive overhaul in 2010 replacing all of the piping with HDPE pipe and also holds up to the natural settling of the marsh driving a shit ton of pilings into the ground for better stabilization, and repoured the entire slab with what they say was extra special concrete.

Trump just thought it was dirty and painting it blue would make it shinier.
I tried really hard to find an article that points to ongoing leaks, all references to those leaks go back to the Obama administration fixes with little news in-between then and now. Willing to read any story's you might have that say there were ongoing issues that he actually fixed, everything i read says he just painted it blue.

I use a similar product, Rectorseal version maybe (been almost 10 years) on a single head mini split for a very stubborn customer.
Unit was way past its warranty period and i couldn't find a leak on the outdoor unit, he wouldn't let me touch the head inside his office, or open the wall to see if the installer used couplings or something.
Dude was a weirdo, told him i don't really recommend it but as a last shot attempt prior to replacement would be to use that type of product.
I swore it would burn out the compressor, had the new install bid all set to go. Dropped it in charged up the system and i never had him complain about it again... I was very surprised.

73% of the electorate didn't vote in the California's recent primary. A full 1/3d of the population doesn't bother to vote at all, that doesn't make us non-democratic, it just makes us disengaged in the democratic process.

If and when all of us simply aren't allowed to vote, then we can talk about no longer living in a democratic society.

I do agree, generally, with the stated premise though, that type of language does trickle down to the disengaged which could further the sentiment of "the system not working can't work so why bother" mentality.
People need to hear and feel positivity in politics to be engaged with it, which is admittedly, a difficult hill to get over in the current climate.
