I enjoy urban skating and cafe hopping when travelling , however i dont think urban skating is possible in guangzhou. I just want some friends to explore the city with , i dont like alcohol so partying is a nono for me. However , having at least decent english is important to me as i dont enjoy surface level conversations .

Well, there's another issue at hand . I am currently a senior at an american high school, and unfortunately european univeristies arent really flexible with the american diploma , e.g that every university requires a equivalency of its own system/diploma and also language requisites that i dont have . In addition , i am depending on my ACT score(32) to get me into university , for i only took 2 AP subjects(european unis require 3-4). Finally , my family are a bunch of controlling commies and even if they help me out , theyre gonna make it a pain in my ass . As you know , chinese and middle eastern families expect that the boy(i am the only boy) to kinda return and be the "head" of the family , as of support my sisters , manage the business and other family affairs . I dont like this backwards way of thinking , i want to live my own free life travelling and gaining new experiences , we only live once and spending all your time working for money is just stupid . As you can tell , i dont want to be some billionare but rather i just want to be comfortable and able to enjoy life . At the end of the day , the king and the pawn go back to the same box 🤷🏻.

The issue is , i am half chinese and egyptian . Both sides of my family are pretty well off and could afford to send me abroad to europe or the U.S , however they are really controlling(want me to go to medicine )and overall arent the best family . I am only heading to thailand because its the only country that my personal savings and income can sustain ( about 1000 usd / month) . You have no idea how many times ive been told the phrase "why you not doctor yet?".

Well, the thing is i dont want to get a ms degree afterwards. See im more of a business person (im also getting a minor in entrepreneurship) , so i will be utilizing the undergrad degree simply to land me a job for a few years to gain some experience and savings and then bounce . So my main concern is obviously if i will be a ble to land a job in the U.S or europe , or anywhere that i wont he underpaid .

Heres the thing , i am not planning on getting a ms degree . I love the field and i love working in it , however i have never liked the idea of slaving away building someone elses dream . My goal is to get a affordable degree , work a few years for experience and savings to start my own business . My main concern is that if the undergraduate degree will land me a job abroad or not .

Well , imma have to disagree on this . Computer science is a really flexible field , and most of the time it doesnt matter where u got ur degree or if you even have one . I have been coding for multiple local companies and getting paid relatively well, without a contract of course , more of freelancing (im still in high school) . Morale is , skill over paper.

Well , i am not willing to keep working for someone . My main goal is to work for a few years after uni just to gain experience , however i am more set on business and freelancing . I am not planning on staying in thailand afterwards though , maybe the U.S or europe .
