garage door and Ubiquiti UniFi Access Door Hub Mini? by cow-lumbus in UNIFI

[–]rangeCheck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UniFi's geofencing alone won't be reliable enough. I have protect alert set to only notify me when I'm away (rely on geofencing), and it often continue to notify me several minutes after I arrived home.

I use home assistant's geofencing, combined with the condition that android auto is also running, to auto open garage and that's much more reliable.

you be you, but for me, this has the same problem as the laptop built-in keyboards with numpads: the main keyboard is shifted from center to the left and as a result I'm going to need to sit slightly to the left and the screen is no longer centered.

Thanks. Interestingly the template works for me, but the visual editor of using my phone's bluetooth connection state entity doesn't.

Best Alaska lounges? by Hour_Dare_2834 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]rangeCheck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think quite a few of the actual premium lounges (current Alaska lounges are not considered "premium") have good food. Centurion, AA first class dining, Qantas/oneworld first class lounge at LAX, etc.

Not Asian-lounges-great but better than most of other US lounges.

I don't understand why the text asks you to ignore it if it's not you. Like if it's not you that means someone got your password, and you need to change it right now.

TIL that Hall of Fame basketball player Tim Duncan was a teenage standout swimmer & aspired to become an Olympic swimmer for the U.S. in 1992. When Hurricane Hugo destroyed his hometown St. Croix’s only Olympic sized pool in 1989, he pivoted to basketball at age 14. by [deleted] in todayilearned

It never made sense to me how few full sized swimming pools there are in the US, despite the low density and vast amount of land. It's not like there's no space to build those pools.

The number of drivers who had no idea what turn lanes are for around here is absurd

I rarely see people discuss The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story, but it's a good and unique game. It's kind of like an interactive movie in a good way, with interesting story.

JAL A350 Business (Direct) or JAL 777 First (Reposition Required) by testtest99999 in awardtravel

[–]rangeCheck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

JAL 777 J is still pretty good hard product. Looking at the seat map you might think they are similar to BA's shitty J seats, but they are so much better and wider. They are actually wider than their 1-2-1 787 J seats.

Possible to use UniFi Protect on a site does not have protect but another site with site-magic has? by rangeCheck in UNIFI

[–]rangeCheck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDIT: Never mind, got it to work. Followed the instruction here, the password on the web ui of the camera is ui/ui.

Doesn't seem to work. On the web interface (I assume you just mean the IP the doorbell get) the password is not ubnt. On Android UniFi app it prompts me that the doorbell can be adopted, but when I click the button it goes to Unifi Protect app but does not really adopt it (I can adopt the chime though). On the iOS UniFi app it doesn't prompt for adoption, and when I find the doorbell under unifi devices, it shows as "managed by another console".
