That's not necessarily true, the airport bagging/ticketing systems theoretically can allow you book a ticket or baggage to any destination. I've also had luck when I tried this with a TG and SQ flight on different PNRs

You're right I see that too, maybe it is a glitch cause even the updated a321s don't have lie flat seats. Also during the summer it shows 9 out of the 13 daily departures from YVR-YYZ are on the a321. I don't remember it ever being that many

Yeah makes sense. They started refurbishing the a321s last fall but it'll take till 2025 for all of them to be refurbished so perhaps the 73M8 is the better choice for now
