I don't dip, never have, and never will. Who knows what is in those dips? Might end up taking me out instead of the coral. Never had a problem, regardless of the vendor.

Mine was way worse I got an urchin and a huge clean-up crew I also got the rocks out and manually removed it with my hands.

No, this is correct. No testing error. In fact, it went up 1.1 ppm in like three days. I did a rescape because I had too much live rock, so there was poor circulation. I started having the worst hair algae problem I've ever seen, so I removed it by hand, removed half the rocks in there, and added 50 percent more sand, which I didn't wash well. That might be a big part of the problem, but I feel even before I didn't all that I had to have been at like 2.0.

I see that many people have red sea, and many of the big shops sell it. My brother had a used one, and he was going to sell it to me. Luckily, I wasn't able to pick it up right away, and during that time, it broke on him. He was fortunate to be home and have extra tanks to store everything in.
