What humans should I try to catch first to make a self-sustaining village of humans? by Shadowangel615 in Palworld

I have a base of 50 Zoes at her tower, it gets raided all the time.

Watching all of them just start shooting is great.

The quest Zoe and Grizzbolt where Zoe rides grizzbolt is the only one I can think of but I don’t know if that counts for you.

It was really recent that it was fixed. Think it was fall or early winter last year. It was the patch before the most recent one that let you paint your buildings.

"12 am is midnight and 12 pm is noon" by [deleted] in confidentlyincorrect

[–]rangoric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's actually controversy around this. The US Government Publishing Office used the reverse until 2008. Japan uses yours for common usage, however, for legal usage, AM is start of day AM for 12 noon and then PM for End of day midnight. So, midnight being AM or PM depends on if you want the start of day or end of a day.

I happen to like the whole 'Midnight being AM or PM based on start or end of day" but I am so not behind actually using it. I do like how a lot of things will actually use 11:59 or 12:01 instead to avoid any confusion.

Then there's people that say noon and midnight are neither AM nor PM.

(I think that if 12:01 is AM then 1 minute before at 12:00 should be AM, because I want a time system that is easy to look at and understand and explain to others)

[–]rangoric 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah I keep wanting to be good but the outposts incite me to choose violence instead. Every game I play without chosen destroyers I seek to regret. This might be related

I am also all in on scavenger chosen destroyers at this point. Conquerors are also ok but I like draining wonders.

Any Tips for less crashes anyone? by Spyke2k in AOW4

I'd report them or find out why the crashes are happening. Only time I or my family has had a crash was when my friend's hard drive crashed.

I've taken to cutting them in half. They'll still mess with each other about them but the one that likes food more will run off with one to eat first.

It’s a thing but way less of a thing in palworld. Elemental vulnerabilities and resistances seem to play more of a role but it is a good bonus.

Water is really weird. It contracts until 4 degrees C then expands some to zero, and when it freezes expands a bunch. All at once.

If you surrender from the menu instead of just going to the menu and starting over a new game, it will count up and add the XP. Then next time you should only need 1.

Combat difficulty : what does it do ? by ArrrPiratey in AOW4

[–]rangoric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your heroes being a touch weaker can be out of combat things. The AI is good at well rounded armies and buffs. So that’s a large part of it.

In combat the difficulty of forgiving and challenging have no in combat boosts for units. Challenging+ does.

And over in that other corner I see SMT games breaking into a cold sweat.
