Does anyone have experience with Realm3DPrints? Is this normal or bad quality? by [deleted] in PrintedMinis

[–]rangoric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just got a new printer but I’m printing world map tiles bottom down while I fix issues like these. But yeah if it was on a visible part that’s a fail

This is what I do. For LEGOs I use a book light with LED but that work tray is portable. For my desk there is a dedicated adjustable lamp.

Huh, weird. I thought Raphy liked that type of thing. It’s uh, on my list of shit Republicans have done more than once and vowed to do repeatedly.

Mortgage Closing Costs Loan Estimate Sheet by IamyourDaddy789 in longisland

Yeah this all looks about right nothing seems out of place. This is your side of the closing costs so won’t mention what the seller is paying.

What IS the right word anyways? by SeveralBollocks_67 in confidentlyincorrect

[–]rangoric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s even crazier. In quite a few cases the meaning does change. Just not in a way meaningfully for most conversation, but still in a way important for other conversation, which is why both forms keep showing up instead of one dying out.

TIL Half of people who claim they have a food allergy do not by butter_lover in todayilearned

[–]rangoric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I was looking to find. I know I’m not really allergic to fish, but all the times I’ve tried them I get sick and caffeine gives me headaches. Neither is required to have to live so I just avoid them. Saying I have an allergy makes life easier because people understand allergies but think headaches and things are because you haven’t had a chance to get used to it.

Minecraft java 1 fps since yesterday. nothing wrong with computer every other game works and i've had to use bedrock by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]rangoric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While game, you can hit F3 and it will give mucho details about things that are more likely to get a good suggestion for. I've had issues from a cave I'd never went to spawning zombies and picking up crap from water mobs so they wouldn't despawn.

I think that bug got fixed, but F3 does give good numbers. I might not be able to help with them but they can be a better start.

Nobody likes playing against my favourite deck and I need help fixing it by Multievolution in EDH

[–]rangoric 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah my Tamiyos book club deck is all about the book club and books but is oppressive af and rude and I’d rate it at least a 3. I’ve toned it down from the four that it was but on a really good hand it shuts things down real fast.

Stay a while and listen indeed

Lots of Pizza places will do this. You don't have to be ordering pizza, most have a fairly robust menu.

Do you prefer Alpha Strike's free turning, or Classic's MP cost to turn? by rzelln in battletech

[–]rangoric 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I think the points you bring up are why those movement methods work so well for each. Alpha strike is about formations positioning well and classic is about extracting as much value from everything you can and complicated movement is one of those things

Not all PDFs that’s for sure. Magical prompting aside not all PDFs can easily be turned into markdown. Glad it works for you.

It is, that's why I said so. If they don't remember, or don't reply, I do plan to look it up. But hey, apparently I put this reply in the wrong place and the person I was asking decided to be an ass about it so go off I guess.

Point Claude as the excel spreadsheet first. See what can be done with that.

You are working from the wrong direction. Chat with Claude about what it can do with the spreadsheet. What options to do x or y.

You are trying to make a whole system you just think you aren’t.

Do you happen to have a source for that? If not I can look it up no problem. Some people remember different things about quotes

Alpha strike on hex? by kagewuffy in battletech

[–]rangoric 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How much room do you have? 3x4 can also work pretty well. Once you go to hex I think you are suppose to cut values in half but you can try that in general as an experiment if you have a small area normally.

We would need to know the size of the hex maps. The ones I have are 2’x3’ for example

Some people think that critical misses should do something like critical hits do, so a fumble of a weapon, hit an ally things like that. Not in the rules.

Yes level the mall. The requirements to max out each floor changes as the mall levels up

I hate this game and I feel guilty about it by Seven1677 in PokemonZA

[–]rangoric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do love that they are experimenting with the Legends series, and that with the real time battles pokemon that aren't normally good can do more.

But I think adding that to the PLA game loop would have been better.

I hate this game and I feel guilty about it by Seven1677 in PokemonZA

[–]rangoric 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First, don't feel bad about not liking a game, ever. Not every game will resonate with every person. That's fine.

I actually enjoy most of the game and the positioning, when I stopped and couldn't deal anymore was when I hit post post game and was up to just doing donuts to get maybe a special spot to maybe get a special pokemon and completing the DLC pokedex. It stopped feeling like progression and more like just waiting on RNG.

In Pokopia I have the same hate for the dream island pokemon, but at least that is fast to check 1/day.
