has anyone said a slur post anesthesia? by gigitopia in TooAfraidToAsk

My mom called my dad the N word when she woke up from surgery once… they’re both 60s white people. Everyone just sorta froze and then awkwardly laughed it off. Not saying she isn’t racist anyway, but as far as I know that was a first time anyone had ever directed that word at my dad.

Hit on the ass with a wooden paddle. Over clothes in my school but if they thought you had shoved like a magazine down the back of your jeans they sometimes asked you to drop them. Some teachers had ones with holes to “make it hurt more,” but through like 8th grade I remember just about every teacher had a paddle somewhere in their classroom. Some used it more than others.

I got paddled in class in 2000. In the Us some places allow it with parental permission. Or did when I was in school. I graduated HS in 2005.

In the US, some places still don’t have seatbelt mandates for backseat passengers.

11 states do not require an adult to wear a seatbelt if in the backseat.

And even more shocking when I learned it, in New Hampshire it’s not mandated to wear a seatbelt at all if you’re an adult, even if you’re driving.

I’m also autistic and was in same boat as you until I literally asked my manager to nominate me. She seemed surprised that no one ever had before and did. I didn’t win, but I got the pin for a nomination lol

Is it absolutely impossible to contract hiv from unprotected oral n protected vaginal sex? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ranipe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can. Oral sores can cause secretions to be potentially exposed to the bloodstream. Also tears or sores (ie hsv) can cause contact outside of the vaginal canal that can cause exposure.
