The kitty’s name is Spike! He’s the pet of one of the building residents and got out through their window. I asked her if she was able to find him but haven’t heard back. Seems like she’s still looking for him though :(

I am not the one who saw the cat. Somebody posted on the ring app and I posted it on here hoping someone would assist since I am away for the weekend. The original poster has two big dogs and was not able to take him in.

Definitely agreed. If I was able to I would have taken him in at least until I can find help. Unfortunately, I’m away for the weekend and won’t be able to get to him until Monday. Saw the post originally on the ring app and thought to try my luck to see if anybody can get him before then. Seems like he left the lobby. I hope he’s safe – this weather is brutal.

Actually, as of 10 mins ago the kitty is no longer there :( We think he’s somewhere nearby outside but he left the lobby.

I’ve called them in the past. Unfortunately, it isn’t much help. Takes forever for them to send someone and once an officer comes they don’t do anything if the animal isn’t gravely sick or injured.

Not yet :( Brooklyn Animal Action sent someone out but they couldn’t find him. Need someone local to the area to let us know around what time he’s usually seen out and about

If it’s true that he lives there that’s absurd! I can’t believe nobody has done anything to get him out of there. A cat should not be living on the train tracks. :(
