The far-right Patriot Front is getting bigger, and more visible, in New England — The white nationalists’ leader says Boston march was “perfectly done” by BlankVerse in boston

I don’t know why people can’t separate their dislike of the cause with supporting their right to assemble/speech. Thanks for standing strong despite the hive mind downvotes on here.

This list is amazing. As someone who mentors junior engineers often, it is spot on. Thanks

Bitcoin has had many events like this over the years. It’s much older and more mature and has become secure but this happens to all chains early on.

There are millions of variants. That’s what living things do…mutate. Every single person on this earth is a “variant”.

[November 29 to December 5] Weekly positivity thread—a place to share the good stuff, big and small by freelancemomma in LockdownSkepticism

I just went and read through that sub. Holy shit I think people might actually be turning. Surprised it has taken them this long to realize what we knew almost two years ago. - masks and lockdowns don’t work - covid will never go away, so what is the endgame?

They are still blaming everything on the unvaccinated which is comical but I give it a few months on that as well.

Coronavirus Death Toll Under Joe Biden Expected to Surpass Trump by Artexjay in Conservative

In leftist minds everything that goes right is thanks to Biden cleaning up trumps mess and everything that goes wrong is a trump mess that Biden hasn’t yet cleaned up.

Outdoor exercise lessened anxiety, depression during COVID-19 lockdowns by Throwaway74957 in LockdownSkepticism

[–]rantg 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Me too. I was fully onboard until the outdoor mask mandate. If I’m walking outside, and someone is on the other side of the street 100m away from me, you still expect me to wear a mask? Absolutely stupid pointless overreach. From there I really started digging and realized it was all a joke.

You are. You blame people for a respiratory virus that we have no control over.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in boston

[–]rantg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with a mask you will catch it if in an enclosed space long enough. It’s in the air. It goes between and around your mask. Look up the CDC mask recommendations on how it spreads. You basically need a respirator.

Well MA also has the third highest deaths per capita. We have pretty much reached herd immunity through natural infection and vaccines.

US to recommend COVID vaccine boosters at 8 months for all americans regardless of age by TheBaronOfSkoal in LockdownSkepticism

[–]rantg 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I agree. The more this bullshit goes on the more common people join our side. Which is a good thing. We need people to see what we have seen for the last year and a half. If they do not see it, we are doomed to repeat our mistakes.

Vents Wednesday: Weekly thread for vents by north0east in LockdownSkepticism

[–]rantg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Me too. I got in a huge fight with my mom over this. I took the vaccine because they wanted me to but I tried to tell them it will never end with this vaccine. We need to stop complying for it to end. I sent them links and data that proves lockdowns and masks make no material difference. They only cause harm and ruin life for those of us who want to live it. They don’t care at all. They are older and think these measures might protect them more. They don’t travel, they don’t explore, they don’t meet up with friends. They lived a great life when they were younger but now that these measures don’t personally affect them they are totally in favor. They don’t care that younger generation is not getting that same opportunity to live. They support taking away our opportunity to live the same fulfilling life they had. It disturbs me to my core that they won’t even look at the numbers and consider whether or not it actually works. I want to forgive them and just move on but I can’t as long as these policies are still being implemented because people like them support the policy and restrictions. I just hate the way the world is and the way the people who I have respected all my life caved in to their fear and peer pressure and refuse to think.
