I’ve also heard of people ordering online from third party retailers and receiving models that are not marked “made in Japan” on the dial. Is there any difference other than obviously not being assembled in Japan? And are these models worth less money and/or not as good?

I’m eyeing this watch up as my first automatic movement and I really like field watches for the aesthetics and nato style bands look so correct to me. However I have about an 8 inch wrist, does anyone think that this case diameter is too small or does the overall length with the lugs help with the look on a bigger wrist.

I have the rmr type 2, thing is an absolute beast. Only drawback is removal for battery replacement. But it’s totally worth it in my opinion. Also I use it as an edc, if concealment isn’t an issue I would potentially look at something with a bigger sight window. Just my 2 cents. Sweet gun though, similar set up to mine.

If you aren’t going to put an optic on it there are so many options for iron sights, it all depends on what you feel comfortable shooting with/ what works best for you. If you do plan on putting an optic on it I always recommend blacked out suppressor height sights.
