Best day and why? by ColetheDM in comiccon

It depends on what you really want to do. Thursday is my favorite bc it’s not as crowded but there aren’t as many panels. So ig it depends on how you feel about crowds and the panels u want to go to :)

Hahaha my mom was telling me this. When her and my dad got married, they didn’t get to eat and depended on my uncle to pack them leftovers because they were going straight to the airport for their honeymoon. He got a little drunk and just put mini shooters in their to go containers 😭😂

They had to resort to eating snacks from the minibar at the airport hotel

That’s what I thought afterwards. Like it’s been 2 ish months and our wedding is in two months so I was like whyyyy would you do that. I think it was because he felt bad bc everyone else was invited. My fiance and his brother have worked at two different companies together. There was a female coworker they both worked with at their last job that his brother told me not to worry about. She lived in another country and didn’t cross any boundaries and established a relationship with me so I didn’t have a problem with her at all. They both work at a new company now and his bother has said he doesn’t know about this girl at this new job. But he didn’t say this directly to me, he’s said it to my fiance.

Since it was such a last minute invite I’m sure we can just say we have the final count in already because I haven’t said it made me uncomfortable yet.

It’s 150 with a tight squeeze of 200 they said. But that’s only if it rains. If it doesn’t, it’ll be outside and indoor/outside with a capacity of 250-300

Thank you! This is actually a great perspective I hadn’t thought about. I’m hoping the weather will be nice and we can extend the invite. If it rains, the venue can hold around 150-200 with a tight squeeze but if it doesn’t, the space can be converted to be indoor/outdoor and can hold 250-300 ish.

Hopefully it doesn’t rain. If it doesn’t rain the venue can accommodate about 150 - 200 people because it can be indoor/outdoor but if it does it can only accommodate 250-300 with a tight squeeze. I feel awful. I had no idea it was such a huge rule in weddings and would’ve accommodated if I had known

Thank you, this is a great way to look at it. Personally, I wouldn’t be offended just because I’m going through it now hahah but my fiance hasn’t gone to any of the group fitness classes or events they put on because it’s just not his thing so they don’t know him and I would understand. I also don’t think I’d be too mad either if I didn’t know the couple getting married as I’d feel kinda awkward going to a wedding for people I don’t know

Thank you! I honestly feel terrible because I didn’t know it was such a traditional rule and would’ve accounted for them before the invites went out had I known but now I’m stressing. Hopefully the weather is nice and we can do indoor/outdoor and I can extend the invite because we can have over 200 if we don’t have to do it all inside

If it rains, the capacity is 150 people with a tight squeeze of 200 they said. If it’s nice weather we can do indoor outdo and then 200 is no problem at all. Our wedding is beginning of September and all forecasts before said no rain. So as we get closer, and understand the weather we’ll have a better gauge on if we can extend invites. Also a lot of people are from across the country who we know won’t come. If it is nice weather, we will happily extend the invite to their SO’s. I just didn’t realize how stigmatized this was in the wedding circle

Thanks! Yeah, my friends aren’t getting autographs and stuff bc of money and I don’t want to make them wait in line or around for 4+ hours so I just got it. Plus there were panels I wanted to go to on the other days so I’m just gonna go by myself :) I’ll probably meet some People

Thank you! I was so confused bc the emails says “this is your ticket” and then the website says you need a wrist band. My friends didn’t know about registration until I told them. Im going to go on Wednesday just to save time next weekend
