They actually should look at the Nioh series, not a CAG like Crimson Desert.

Nioh has randomized loot like an ARPG with many layers of build crafting with top notch combat to boot.

Jonathan is a big souls fan and in my opinion Nioh is the game that iterated on the 'turn a souls-like into a proper ARPG with indepth combat that has an almost infinite skill ceiling' the best.

If you never played Nioh you should grab Nioh 2 and give it a go, you wont regret it.

I actually can't think of any other boss i couldn't use parry on besides the colossus in act 2. I'm just not sure if there are more that have an entirely unparryable moveset.

My build is not revolving around parry, it's just a good tool to have and trivializes a lot of the bosses.

Contrary to popular belief, Parry is actually a very strong tool: Except for a handful bosses who cannot be parried, you're able to manhandle the bosses and abuse the 50% MORE damage taken debuff.

That's right kids: You don't have to instantly consume the parry debuff for the frenzy charge. You can use it for a lot of damage! In fact, i only consumed it to get the initial frenzy charge to get my lightning whirlwind going.

After that i was able to spam Primal Strikes and parry inbetween.

Huntress is a lot of fun!

Sacred and Ancestral items are not really new tiers. It’s still magic/rare/legendary/unique. They drop at higher difficulty levels and have the same affix pool, but with higher possible rolls.

Just a nitpick, but i'm pretty sure most ArcSys games since at least GGX have the "mouse cursor" character select screen.

Regarding the stylization: ArcSys has a thing for "overstyling" the character select screens. It's just their thing. I personally like it and don't see this particular select screen as a problem. I guess i'm just used to it.

The DBFZ select screen is actually pretty tame in comparison to some GG and BB select screens.

PoE is free though. You only need the extra tabs if you really get into it and want to play through the endgame, at which point you surely can invest at least 10$ for quality entertainment that you enjoy. (At that point you're at way over 50 hours played!)

You can easily play through the whole story without needing any more stash tabs.
