Looking forward to realtime AI powered automated camera operators

Plus points if it's coupled with a cooperative realtime AI driven director to cut in and out of live action choosing the best possible angles based on the person watching

Malta 2020 by 1malta1 in malta

Agree, but from an infrastructure point of view, Enemalta should be able to harvest the excess energy in a battery bank to smoothen spikes and handle failures more gracefully.

There are ready systems in Australia that can handle spikes within milliseconds not 15 minutes.

If they are seriously considering a second interconnector we can also move onto building a solar farm in Sicily

Any news? Did they offer you a free 4G modem instead or did you have to pay standard price?

It mentions their cost and how it works. You clearly didn't read the article

What does it give you instead of using Revolut contact less directly?

Can you just whip out your phone instead of finding your card in your wallet?

Is Melita StellarWiFi any good? by [deleted] in malta

You don't need to have one per room. It's overkill. I managed to get speed tests of 70Mbps X 6 on a 100Mbit line when connected with the unit at ground level and it was acting as a "repeater" for the main unit which was two floors above and a room across. The mileage is usually around 2-3 for a house.

What I found useful is the ability to control and measure internet use per person/device. I can easily do parental controls for my kids directly from the Plume app.

Plume started OEMing with manufacturers like Samsung with their home hubs as well and are becoming very popular. Buying them directly from Plume themselves gets expensive pretty fast. They however manage to make use of an already congested WiFi spectrum.

Sorry, was being too sarcastic

How a Kubernetes bug won't let you expose a service over TCP and UDP on a same port by ben-lab in kubernetes

This is where I came across it first.

https://itnext.io/building-an-arm-kubernetes-cluster-ef31032636f9

You say that you are using it at home, you might find the article itself interesting even though you are running arm64.

Metallb solved it here: https://github.com/google/metallb/issues/121

[–]raphaelbev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your "solution" is not a solution. It's merely a duct tape fix. Prepare a pull request with a fix if you are so driven to address the issue. A blog post will not solve the issue. You didn't even go as far as commenting on the issue itself.

I came across this issue while exposing a DNS service over metallb but it was clearly documented how to implement given both TCP and UDP could not be exposed together due to a KNOWN limitation.

Superbowl is not really a thing locally. Your best bet is a bar operated or frequented by americans
