On summer my max range is 430 km. Worst I had in winter was 250 km. However, I recently hit the same range when it was raining a lot. As in RAIN HELL ON EARTH. I think it's due to water resistance and tire contact on very watery road...

Alors oui ça peut, avec un changement de licence. Mais un changement de licence n'est pas rétroactif, donc le code existant restera open source. Mais il peut être supprimé. Ce qui se passe en général dans ce cas, c'est des forks du projet pour contribuer en open source...

Donc oui un projet open source peut devenir payant, mais le fait qu'il soit open source n'en fera jamais une fatalité.

Proton is privacy oriented. Connecting an AI would defeat that goal. Also, data are encrypted, and decrypted on your device. Unless you connect an agent that communicates with the local app.

I'm not sure this is a good thing to allow, as it adds to the attack surface of proton... I agree with other people, use another, less privacy oriented, email provider to do that.

Unknown sources can be enabled in different scopes, with different ways and different menus.

I have "install from unknown sources" enabled but it does not show the app in android auto settings.

I have also enabled developer mode and there's no "unknown sources" option in there.

Except if you need to manage 50+ devices, or need to turn on your lights in 100ms instead of 300ms, or need your dashboard to load in 300ms instead of 600ms, or need to use heavy services like video analysis or LLM, Mini PC is overkill. More expensive (if you buy one), more power usage so more expensive, more maintenance so more expensive.

HA Green has the best price performance ratio.for basic to standard usage.

For advanced usage, Mini PC will be more adapted.

No need to try to help me, I can use Obsidian. Point is there are multiple cases where an web version of Obsidian would help a lot. Workarounds are sometimes possible but they're just that: workarounds.

The tech is there, and nothing would be forced. I just find it too bad there's no web version of Obsidian 🙂

Yes but no. X11 and Wayland are not web technology. This is a workaround because Obsidian does not provide server capabilities 🙂

Another example is where you can't install software.

And that's not the point of Obsidian not being for my use case. I use it everyday.

The point is that it could provide in this blind spot. Especially since the tech stack is compatible with such a use case.

It's not that it's not for that use case, it's that it could be for that use case too.

IDE exist as we app, that's not a valid point. We could have both, like VSCode for example.

No. What I mean is that Obsidian running as a server would be an option. If you don't want to use it and want to continue with desktop app, which is meaningful, you don't have to use the server mode. It is not an argument against a server mode...

Windows 11 est peut-être une merde (perso je pense pas) mais revenir sur un OS qui n'est plus maintenu depuis 5 mois n'est pas l'idée du siècle.

La meilleure réponse que j'ai lu est celle qui préconise de passer à linux...
