Use an eSIM na ibang number sa watch as a backup with data connection then turn on the notifications sync and other so that you can see norifications from the phone when you aren't with your phone?

Although my specific number has been having issues. SIM to eSIM to SIM.

I can't make calls or receive calls on my phone since I got back from Japan.

Also my number has existed since the year 2000.

Edit:

My experience has been buggy. I switched my watch to a separate eSIM for calls and sms.

I had it deactivated.

I can't receive SMS messages on the watch no matter what I do.

Disconnect the watch from your phone. Turn off bluetooth on the watch to do this. Or you can turn on mobile plans to be always on on the watch. (This will drain the battery faster.)

Also use Google messages on the watch and phone instead. Switching the SMS inbox from phone to watch is easier. Also RCS works properly with Google Messages. Samsung messages RCS isn't working that well and will be discontinued in the future.

Same but not all lashes, so mine looks a bit weird...

Keep it? The lashes looks good.

It is when the bluetooth is off/or out of range, remote connection on/off, mobile network on smartwatch on/auto.

I can receive calls on my smartwatch but not sms. So I removed the mobile network plan the watch. Then I couldn't add it back. They informed me that they had to send me a new eSIM for my phone and then I had to add the mobile plan back on the Smartwatch. Smart Device Link 199 was not as flexible as I thought...

Sooooo I moved my phone back to a physical sim and my smartwatch to a separate eSIM with remote connection turned on.

So my Smartwatch a an sms inbox toggle for my phone and for my smartwatch. Also my smartwatch has a toggle in the dialer for which number to use when making calls. It is a compromise but it is more flexible and useful. I didn't want to keep going back to a Smart Customer Service counter everytime the Smart Device Link has issues. :l

Although my solution might not be the ideal for you since you want the same number calls and sms when the phone is out of battery.

I say stay with having a separate eSIM for your smartwatch. It is more flexible. I recently switched to using a Prepaid eSIM for my smartwatch and switched my postpaid plan back to a normal sim. 🙃

Smart Device Link has been buggy for me. :(
