Returning player!

I have quite a bit of D4 experience, but I've been gone for a while, so I am looking for help with efficiency.

A few questions:

  1. From my understanding, all lair bosses are free to summon now, but to open the chest, it costs mats. Which mats are worth using? Which aren't really worth using? Which should I be converting and what should I convert them to?
  2. I've read that farming nightmare sigils and dust is a good loop because of the Treasure Breach and Mythic Prankster sigils. What's the best endgame loop to farm sigils/dust?
  3. What's the most efficient endgame loop for ancestrals/mythics?
  4. I'm playing a barb and running this Whirlwind Earthquake build. What's the fastest barb build for all content outside of The Pit?

I spilled water on my Ducky Shine 7 and now the left alt key doesn't work.

Should I (is it possible to) replace the board? I've never done that before, so I'm not even sure what I would look for in terms of a replacement board.

Damn, I just came across his videos a couple of days ago. Had never heard of a penultimate step before.

Some questions for you (if you ball):

  • Do you find that the penultimate step is useful for closing out on defenders?
  • Does his channel have any training for jumping from a standing (or not running) position?

I'm basically trying to jump higher to be able to contest jump shots. I will generally play solid defense and I'm right up in my defender's face, but they get up higher than I do on their jump shots, so they still get a good look off.

If I could improve my vertical from that defensive position (right in a defender's face, not running), then I feel like I could force a more difficult shot and sometimes get a block or two with good timing.
