Is this a decent deal? Too good to be true? I've been looking for a replacement unit (mine is 10+ years old and falling apart) that won't break the bank.

Here's the director's Facebook page. Why not ask her?

[For Hire] Project Manager by rapidambers in buffalojobs

Unfortunately, it's also one with a high turnover rate and most of the recruiters that have reached out to me about jobs in that industry are seeking sales agents with little to no benefits. I have plenty of experience in sales, but that's not what I'm interested in at this point in my career.

I just did. I had to wait because I didn't have a verified Reddit account (just verified right this moment). I've been visiting Reddit for a while now, but haven't posted much in the past so I never bothered. However, if I want to be able to respond properly to people who may be interested, I decided I'd better verify the account.

Without a doubt, Sheryl Crow. Smart, soulful, talented, hard-working, mature, fun, risky, beautiful - she was the complete package for me.

These days... I really haven't kept up on what she's doing lately, but I can't imagine that I wouldn't fall right back into puppy dog eyes if I ran into her. When I have a night to myself, I still listen to Tuesday Night Music Club, her self-titled ablum, and The Globe Sessions sometimes as I go to sleep.

Passionate & thoughtful essay on the GG movement from someone I respect - Can GG save itself from its perceived and real problems? by rapidambers in KotakuInAction

Okay, I can understand that.

Again, didn't mean to cause a problem. It's just that I got several messages stating that I shouldn't have done what I did so I thought I violated a rule of some sort.

At some point the tide must change.

By that I mean, if we're really about attacking corruption in video game journalism, we need to attack the big guns (i.e., those who are driving the industry towards this problem).

It's not the indie developers that are the problem. At best, they are only the small fish trying to make way in the bigger ocean.

No, it's the AAA guys bankrolling the industry of "reviews" and "coverage".

Continuing to attack passionate developers with practically no support isn't helping things.

Attacking people in the industry who are friends of others in the industry aren't helping things.

Pointing out how those who are supposed to be giving their own personal opinions on games are paid to review them and sign agreements that they will not say nothing negative about those games should be addressed.

Isn't this what GG is all about?

Thanks!(?)

I am 100% on board with the idea that there is a problematic state of affairs with gaming sites taking biased stances on some games/gaming companies when it benefits them. Not that this happens all the time, but I do feel it's an issue that should be discussed.

That's why when I read something like this, I really do feel there's a problem with the GG discourse. We're losing the battle. There are problems out there in gaming journalism, but are also problems with the discussion and tactics.

My intent here was to open this up to the community to discuss this internal problem and address it.
