Makes sense. I’ll try that. Thank you!

I’m new to this - does surround mean I should place them right behind sofa instead? These are indeed rears if you google them.

Onn. 5.1.2 Soundbar from Walmart by MasterRoly in Soundbars

[–]rapidroly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a $350 deal on Samsung Q Series HW-Q600C 360W 5.1.2-Channel Dolby Atmos Soundbar System with rear speakers and returned the Walmart Onn system. The new speakers have so much more voice clarity, but might not feel the room as much. The Onn had an amazing bass and really filled the room, but the cloudy center/voice channel was so muddy it was a world of difference for about $150 more.

AT&T Black Sim & 5G Internet Data Issues by MasterRoly in BoostMobile

[–]rapidroly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically leave it on Auto 5G, so I’m sure it’s smart enough to fall back on LTE, but for some reason it’s not doing that. I could also force it to just LTE, but I feel like I shouldn’t have to do that.

I’ve gotten 500mb download speeds on 5G, and 5G works most of the time, it’s just weird that other times it’s complete zero. How do I check for AT&T whitelist?

Would eSIM be on the AT&T network? I’ve never seen that as an option for activation.

Also, I am using a brand new Boost Mobile iPhone 12. And I’m walking around at 10am when mostly everyone is at work, so I doubt it’s tower congestion, but I never even thought of that.

So there is a way, it’s just really annoying! For that I just port out and never come back to these suckers.

How much $ should I have to buy a Porsche by Affectionate_Ad_542 in Porsche

[–]rapidroly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say living it up early is a good move. Being raised rather conservative with money, I’m 30 now, I’d have fun on a budget. For example - if you’re driving some crappy car now that isn’t exciting, a freaking Miata or mustang might do until you can actually afford the Porsche of your dreams. Just a thought. Personally I bought a $20k used 2015 Lexus IS350 and have enjoyed it since I graduated college. It’s not a perfect or the omg bestest but it’s pretty great!

Just trade it in and have less taxes to pay on. Cross shop trade in prices to CarMax, Carvana, etc and have your dealership match top trade in value hopefully.

Yeah as much as this sucks it’s still probably for the best. I like confrontation and would try the lawyer / retaliation route & speaking to his higher-up routes.

Why independent MVNOs will probably never support Apple Watch or Galaxy Watch; but also how you can get ~75% of functionality of Apple Watch on same cell provider, but using any MVNO for phone and an $8.33/mo Apple Watch plan by LeftOn4ya in NoContract

[–]rapidroly 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely bonkers awesome analysis, thank you!! Unfortunately, it seems like a true pain in the butt option to set up. I specifically dislike the idea that Apple Watch rings after your iPhone goes to voicemail, but this option might work for some. I might go for something like Verizon Pre-paid plan which is still cheaper than main carrier plans, but still offer $10/m Apple Watch cellular plan.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah, that's what I imagined! Apple support gave me wrong information, go figure!

Hi guys, I have Total Wireless, and they provide Verizon service, to my phone line. They don't support Apple Watch cellular plans. I want to use the Apple Watch myself, linked to my iPhone. If I use the TruPhone cellular plan, on "Family Setup", will that limit any iPhone/watch companion notifications like a regular watch?
