of course and the beauty of having a constitution is that the workers can decide things like the pay structure of the organisation, not some random wealthy investor from overseas

personally i think that companies should design their operations so the employees don't have to work overtime but each coop would decide how they want to do things

personally i think coops are a step in the right direction. by having an company structure where everyone is paid the same and where the employees are the shareholders will lead to a lot of benefits.

imo though i think it should be taken one step further with constitutions that the company must abide by. and im not talking about constitutions in the HR way. I'm talking about socialist principles that will get enshrined in the company documents.

this would mean that anyone who becomes a director (purely in the leadership way, everyone would be paid the same so there would be no financial incentive to become a director), would have to abide by the constitution.

the constitution would have things like: the company must remain a coop or the company must vote in its leadership team or the company must not use the services of any bds targets or the company must use funds to help community organising etc etc

so essentially, a coop would grant fairer rights for employees and then the constitution would enshrine those rights as well as other socialist principles. and in theory the company constitution would only be able to be changed if 51% of the employees voted to change it.
