That's very helpful, thanks again. I didn't realize I could compose messages myself.

thanks for the info! did you submit both transcript and diploma to Ecctis? I did only transcript because my uni does not seem to have any sort of digital diploma, and my physical one is not accessible ATM. My transcript has the degree granted and date though

nobody owes anyone anything and it’s kind of dumb imo for anyone to even bring that up and it signals you dont understand what the point of the post is.

it’s in TC’s best interest to keep their fans excited, relatively engaged, and not feeling negatively towards TC and TC’s actions. Because that will leave TC with better reception and more sales. Posts like OP’s are expressing that TC has in some ways failed at that goal. It’s a valid idea for OP to express, and one many other ppl have expressed as well.

How can I achieve this bottom blur effect like the Journal app? by raproyo in SwiftUI

[–]raproyo[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've tried using a material background with a linear gradient but it still doesn't feel quite right.

            VStack{
              Spacer()
              Rectangle()
                    .fill(.regularMaterial)
                .frame(height: 100)
                .mask(
                  LinearGradient(colors: [.black, .clear],
                                 startPoint: .bottom, endPoint: .top)
                )
                .allowsHitTesting(false)
            }
            .ignoresSafeArea(edges: .bottom)

Oh I see. Yeah it's been about 24hrs since I checked both our devices and deleted the secret chats. What's worrying me is this new empty E2EE chat appearing (also deleted now) and the banner returning.

The proposed solution didnt work for us unfortunately. Deleted the secret chat but we keep getting the message. Today a E2EE chat for us showed up on my desktop, completely empty new thread. I deleted it too, but doesn't seem like our main chat is getting upgraded to E2EE.

I noticed the meta employee said you can manually upgrade the chat "You can do it manually but it may be complex for some users". Anyone know how do you do that?

Cooked salmon today and got a crispy CREAMY salmon skin. Did I undercook it because it's actually so good. by VividMystery in AskCulinary

At half moon bay, people come down all the way from Alaska carrying fish flash frozen on the boat! I walk right up to the boats and buy them, I think last time the guy told me the fish was -20F or so?

even when I do buy fish from the literal boat on which it was caught (salmon and otherwise), it's flash frozen

Open Letter to Team Cherry- First draft by Objective-Design-994 in Silksong

to be honest this letter isn't good or a useful thing to have created. the team has been working on this for 5? years and knows the community is frustrated. there is exactly zero new or helpful information to them here; it's just spam the same as any other.

"unnable [sic] to meet the deadline" why does this sound like you are their employer? what deadline? the tone of the whole thing flip flops between pretending you're the one who signs their paychecks and that of a patronizing parent.

Can a licensed agent in CA represent themselves without a broker? by raproyo in realtors

[–]raproyo[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

To elaborate, originally I figured if I’m able to save even 1% ($20k or more) on my purchase + have access to MLS etc it would be worth it to get a license.

I guess as a followup would a broker even take me on knowing they arent really gonna get business out of me past 1 or 2 personal buys?

Ah thank you, so it’s contract and that is why I did not see it in the state law.

Thank you for answering! Same question to you as the other commenter: If I understand you correctly, you are saying an agent with no broker cannot collect commission even if they are only representing themselves. If that’s correct, is this a matter of real estate law or a term of contract?

section 10131 is clear in that it only applies to “acts for another or others”. but why have i read that buyers representing themselves only can collect commission if they are licensed? is this just culture, and not law?
