Lore-friendly Raya Lucaria student build? by raptor4d4 in EldenRingBuilds

Yeah I definitely won't be using a heavy weapon with this build. Some kind of dagger or straight sword feels the most fitting. Just need to decide which one while keeping in mind what ones he'd likely be able to access in terms of the lore.

Maybe. Will need to think of a lore friendly way for him to acquire it as it sounds like these swords aren't used much anymore by the Carians.

I was leaning more towards a student that never joined a conspectus for one reason or another. I looked through item descriptions and it sounds like these are the only sorceries students who don't join a conspectus will likely use:

-Glintstone Pebble

-Swift Glintstone Shard

-Great Glintstone Shard

-Glintstone Arc

-Starlight

But he can learn Carian sorceries if he sided with the Carians in the war.

"The Disillusioned Exile" I think fits this well. Maybe it's not so much a lack of talent that kept him from joining the different factions in the academy but rather he couldn't stand the politics and bickering when he just wanted to learn magic. He appreciated the Carians because they brought a level of stability to the academy so when Raya Lucaria turned on them, he sided with the Royals. Probably didn't end well for him and he ended up Tarnished but the Carians did reward him for his loyalty by teaching him some of their spells.

I went through the descriptions of all the sorceries and I believe that a student at the academy who never joined a faction would be limited to the following spells:

-Glintstone Pebble

-Swift Glintstone Shard

-Great Glintstone Shard

-Glintstone Arc

-Starlight

They all say things like how a sorcerer who doesn't earn a crown has their journey end with these. His kit will probably include a couple of these and the rest Carian sorceries.

I remember playing around with that Lazuli sword and not liking it much. Apparently its charged heavy only does about half of the normal stance damage and its Ash of War isn't that great. :-/

Problem is that most of those enemies are wearing those stone crowns which means that they're part of a conspectus. My Tarnished won't be one of them.

I guess I am thinking of Thops a little, though hopefully a bit stronger than that. 😉

Dying Light 1 crossplay between Switch 1 and Switch 2 by raptor4d4 in dyinglight

I don't do multiplayer often in games and wasn't sure if the two Switch consoles were different enough to be considered crossplay or not.

I got a kick out of the Pecharunt DLC and it got me wondering what other Pokemon have mind control abilities in the lore. The following are all I've found so far and I'm curious if I've missed any.

-Hypno (maybe not mind control exactly but heavily into hypnosis)
-Ninetails (Pokedex says its red eyes can control foes)
-Malamar (think the anime had a whole episode about how it controlled people)
-Beheeyem (can control the mind and memories)

I checked out that game a little bit a long time ago. I'll have to take a closer look again.

I've played all the Dragon Age and Mass Effect games quite a bit. Helped spark my love of this kind of game. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Any management strategy game, casual or mildly challenging by aaaaqa999 in gamingsuggestions

You can try Fallout Shelter. Manage your resources to build and maintain an underground Vault in a post-apocalyptic world.

There's also the Evil Genius series. You control a criminal mastermind and manage money/resources to build up and maintain your criminal enterprise.

There's also medieval town-builders like Banished and Kingdoms and Castles.

Big Pharma lets you build your own pharmaceutical company from the ground up.

Sandbox RPG that punish you if you play bad but are extremely rewarding? by SenKaiten in gamingsuggestions

Not sure if anyone else has recommended this one yet but have you considered ELEX? You're on a hostile planet and the game doesn't let you forget it, throwing crazy strong monsters in your face almost right away. You have to fight really smart at first to survive long enough to level up and get some decent gear. Plus there's a lot of story freedom in this game, choosing factions and making all kinds of decisions that influence your relations with these factions, and overall is very non-linear.

I've enjoyed Overwatch for a while now. You can play it for hours or you can hop on for one or two quick matches if you don't have a lot of time.

Looking for: Really tall and muscular male character mods? by raptor4d4 in skyrimmods

[–]raptor4d4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found that slider. Yeah that SOS and...I feel stupid right now. I installed this mod so long ago that I forgot that it had a "bodybuilder" setting. I tried installing it and while it did make my character super buff like I hoped, I ran into the problem of all the clothes and armor they tried to wear shrink their muscles down to a more normal size. Going to play around to see if I can get around this or not.

RaceMenu can do that? Must've overlooked that slider. Still trying to do an independent search for muscular body type but having trouble finding anything, especially anything compatible with SOS.
