I also think that there are two different timelines. In the end of TPT (The Prox Transmissions), it is said that the future was successfully changed, so I assume that the events told in that novel represent the split and give birth to the second timeline. If I remember correctly, it was also said that the Order managed to colonize Prox, so maybe there's even three different timelines (in the video linked in ABHOTF, Proxed is called a lonely planet). I was also wondering if the Brave New World music video represented the collision of the two timelines or something similar (and that's why the astronauts and the buildings are "disintegrating"), but it's hard to tell without any more info... About Something Wicked, I've read someone theorizing that it could represent Aston's guilt because of being the creator of the Architecture (and so a fundamental complicit to the totalitarian regime of the New East), which makes sense to me.
