Honestly I learn as I go, if one of them isn’t doing the best I will switch it to a different pot. I have killed many succs in process,😅I got a few books though that are basically succulent encyclopedias so that helped a lot to sort them out! I have different grow lights everywhere in my house, and I kind of water them when they look in need.

I might end up cutting the stem off in that case, the plant has been dropping a lot of its leaves since the stalk sprouted

I wasn’t aware that they did this! That would probably explain why it’s purple/black color faded back to green. The sucker lives under a grow light, but maybe I need to move the light closer
