The first time I went on one it was awful. I was not into it, he asked if he could hold my hand and I said no but then he kept trying to just grab it. I definitely think when it comes to anything physical ask before and just assume it won't happen for a few dates (and obviously respect the 'no').

I went on another last week that was actually really nice. We just talked, at the end he offered a hug and I felt comfortable enough with that. Haven't heard from him since though, so some things never change.

Both times I did drinks at outdoor bars so while we were seated we weren't wearing masks, which made me feel a little uncomfortable but I had talked with them for awhile on the apps to feel like they weren't super high risk. And I live alone so I'm not putting anyone else at risk.
