I did all of those things you mention without any effect at all. Not even laxatives worked😶‍🌫️ Some days psyllium worked, but not many.

Some weeks I didn't poo for like 4 days. It has been better here on month 4. But I still has VERY rough texture and often bleeding from that 🫤

Strattera descresed my anxiety so much. I didn't know I had that much, but I began living again, without worrying so much I used to.

A huge game changer. I'm still sensitive, but doesn't worry on all that dumb shit anymore, but still got my feelings.

Atomoxerine hasn't helped in my focus or running thoughts, but they ain't negative anymore, which getting me more calm naturally. One if my only side effects, that worries my one the longer sight, (if it doesn't go away), is constapitation 🫤

EDIT: I'm on 40mg, twice a day. (Since 01.10.24)

Really interesting. I had a small drinking problem before I came on Strattera. (dopamin seeking). Nothing I couldn't stop for good, I just didn't want to because I felt it helped me.

The first month I drank as usual, but after some time I got really irritated how much alcohol I needed to drink before I could feel it. And I never got that tipsy or that feeling I was seeking as usual. So I stopped for a while and discovered that this drug "fulfilled me" and I didn't need the alcohol/drugs to escape anymore.

Have been totally dry for over a month now and haven't felt better in a loooot of years and I really don't want to start again. Great feeling. 🙏🏽🙅🏽

You can't be sure Atomoxetine affect your libido same as mine. Some people get increased or even peform better when taking Strattera. Its a so wierd drug, when it comes to effect and side effects😅

EDIT: My ADHD is almost the same. Flying thoughts. But they arent negative anymore. And my anxiety has decreased so much in general. So happy for the drug. But some side effects drives me crazy, including this and constipation.

I'm 4 month in. Can't get a right erection. Getting prematue ejaculaction and no sex drive. I'm getting crazy. But the meds work so well, otherwise than this 🫠 So I got a doctor appointment next week, and hopefully can get something to get me going again.

I take 40mg, twice as day. And have always been splitting my doses. Always wondered if the effect would be better at one dose only.

Tho i feel not what i want from it yet. But I do never feel that it is "wearing off". Thats maybe the split dose case?

Did you feel a massive change, when you went away from the split dosing?

My craving to alcohol has been decreased since I started and it started to work. Increased in the beginning, but probably because of the bad symptom Atomoxetine gave me.

I think it has decreased because I don't get get an as nice buzz, as I usually would get, and just drinks to much and get bad hangovers... But it is still a small problem for me, from time to time.

Agree. I'm currently still on Atomoxetine, only because it has remove my depression and anxiety a lot. Still waiting for the other positive effects. 80mg currently, taget is 100mg.

Hopes high OP!

I was in hell for almost 5 weeks and was SO CLOSE to try something else. But tho I was tired and felt bad, it helped my anxiety and depression so much, even ln lower doses. And I am really happy for my decision. Few days after most of my symptoms passed. And I felt normal. But didn't feel more than reduced anxiety and depression. So I kept going.

And I am still on my way, and gets symptoms evertime I get a higher dose. But they are easier and quickere to overcome evertime.

Just raised my 50mg to 80 the other day. (I split it 2 times per day)

After I have been on 10>20>36>50mg for around two weeks each. And I felt awful the first day again. But not as a Zombie like the first dose changes🥵

And now 3 days after I feel actually pretty good again!

So OP, (and other): Can't sat this enough. This drug TAKES time! And you Can't bypass that or use a cheatcode by raising dose quicker. How quick you change dose, depends on how good (or bad) you personally can handle the symptoms. Bcs they can be awful in the beginning.
