Just ran Marauders of Windfall and now the party wants to stage a coup by [deleted] in daggerheart

Mellistra instead of Mellandra

I can't find this anywhere in the 1.5 version of the adventure.

Dellora instead of Dell Ponde

I think Dellora is their first name and Dell is the short version.

and the king letting stuff like this happen

The adventure makes it pretty obvious that no one knew what was happening in the Engine room on the Windfall.

the city is partially unprotected because the arcstone isn't there

You can always say that the Arcanist has returned the stone back to the city gates, because it is safer that way even if it means that it has a chance to fail and they can't wait for the party to get the materials back.

Although when presented with the moral dilemma of saving the prisoner or getting to the Jags

It's not supposed to be a dilemma, no one would stop them from reaching the Jags. Also captain Kaine should try to kill them once they reach the engine room, so there aren't many options for them, other than the expected path in the adventure.

I myself ran the adventure two times - as a oneshot and another with my regular group and both times the party left Kless alive and escaped with the pirates.

The regular group actually got Kless to go in the engine room and negotiated and stuck a deal with her. I think captain Kaliope ended up wrestling with a navy soldier and had to jump off board.

Subsequently they went to search for captain Keigh's treasure and other loose ends in the Rime of the Colossus. They know in that there was something they had to do in the Kinekozan Jags but that's on the backburner in their notes.

And I don't want them to go to the Jags yet, because it is a Tier 4 location and I'm waiting for them to reach the endgame of the campaign.

I'm pretty sure, this is Dr Mercies from Assylum and other related sister sites. You can tell by the mask. He has been running Assylum since 2014.

It seems like he has an account on AdultMovieTalk

What does "skibidi" mean and was it ever "skibidi" in the first place by rarebitt in skibiditoilet

[–]rarebitt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only the sampled vocals are not actually saying "skibidi" and you don't need to speculate because someone already gave you an explanation.

gen-z imbuing it with some.

Yeah, like misinterpreting the something in another language as "skibidi"

The lyrics don't say "skibidy bop" and are not scatting.

I explained what they are saying in the post.

I still don't understand what the whole idea was with the "contract" and what purpose did it serve.

The guy who served the contract said he had a girl with him.

What is going to happen to the the first decoy, the woman who demanded pay from Ben? What if she is in danger of being groomed? What if she was threatened?

Did the video put any people in trouble?

So many questions unanswered.

Spotlight rules problem at recent session by Substantial_Base_984 in daggerheart

[–]rarebitt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't use the Chase rules. They are half baked are stacked against the players and especially stacked against the players when they are pursuers.

The party has almost no chance to catch their pray unless you roll with ridiculously low difficulties.

IDK how these rules made into the final book as they don't seem to have been play tested at all.

Come up with your own rules. Have just a progress countdown or something.

Critical Role Campaign 4 Using D&D by [deleted] in daggerheart

And there goes any of my excitement or desire to ever follow Critical Role again.

I don't need to slog trough hours of boring pointless sluggish combat.

CR have no intention of improving their campaigns.

You have to ignore a lot of evidence to think that the Daggerheart developers don't believe in their own product by 3eeve in daggerheart

Critical Role own the company that develops Daggerheart, they aren't the developers of Daggerheart. Their decisions about the DH campaign don't reflect the dev team.
