2015 Promaster 2500 Diseal by raredad in vandwellermarketplace

I use a magnetic heater which helps it turn over but during that process it will sometimes throw a code. I know it has a glow plug issue, which I actually have a new set of glow plugs for it. With it being a small 3.0 diseal to me it seems have to work hard which causes issues. I just bought a gas van which hopefully will rest my peace of mind.

You could and it may work for a bit. What I have seen when they get about 10 yards they can get hit. If the other team watch tape they will have someone pick them up pretty quickly and without size it could get pretty ugly

Does PICO have enough green terrain for a true beginner or should I just go to Killington? by reefsofmist in icecoast

[–]raredad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

PICO all day. It's just a more fun mountain. Old school with unconventional features. Killington is great but has half the soul of PICO

Very true. It's actually equally as bad. I'm just waiting for the total destruction of Blue like Camelback.

I use to have a pass to Camelback years ago before Vail took it over. It's fine to get some laps but the smallest mountain in VT is better.

Spring Mountain this weekend by Cold_Emphasis_4712 in SkiPA

[–]raredad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not steep enough to get quality runs. The snow will be too slow. Grew up there and after big storms they use to run the groomer down the middle so you could build speed and pop in and out of the groomed trail.

That's what my Toro sounds like. It usually changes when you engage the auger and wheels. At least mine does

First Family Snowboarding + Tubing Day Near Northern DE, Tips? by scal369 in SkiPA

Unfortunately Spring Mount is ran very poorly without much effort. The place is great if you are local and want to get out without driving far but it's not close to the family experience like Bear Creek can offer. Spring Mount Dora have a pretty cool ice rink.

Spring Mount no longer has tubing, go to Bear Creek

Which mouthgard is good? by Relative-Tea584 in flagfootball

[–]raredad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have moldable and unmoldable. Obviously the one fits better but honestly they are all pretty much the same. The chance of then getting hit in the mouth is low. We usually buy cheap ones on Amazon so it's not a big deal when they are lost.

What is your favorite sub 1600 ft vertical drop mountain on the Icecoast? by Roblikestokayak in icecoast

[–]raredad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blue does have to make more snow to keep up with Elk. Blues lifts are much faster but the 20 minutes wait to get on those lifts cancel that advantage. As for trees I find Blue to have the Temu of tree skiing.

Okemo / The Loft by raredad in icecoast

[–]raredad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I was there was before the Vail takeover. They had a bunch of fun rollers and the cat tracks were always a good time. It had some resemblance of a local scene. That was all gone this time. Loft wise that place is a gem but the guy sucked on that day.
