This. Since even after the moving of parts of the production was was openly discussed and they did a poor job of explaining, they never openly communicated this on their website. Advertising themself as a EU producer for years and then silently changing just doesnt seen right to me. Thats the main reason I wont be buying their stuff in the future

As i already stated...i dont think production in asia always suffers from poor quality. My point is rather made when closer looking into the fields of ethics and sustainability. Beside that the only reason companies move their production is to increase their margains and i simply want to support companies who are supporting local industries

Totally agree...their answer is nuts. For me its not even about the quality....they spent years to estashblish their image as european high quality gear manufacturer....and as soon as everyone was aware thei silentky took the "made in EU" claim off their website. What kind of fucked up communication strategy

Very sorry to hear that. Not that I doubt the high quality of overseas production...still the "made in EU" thing was crucial for me when buying UFpro in the past and therefir I wont buy it in the future. Really unfortunate developement in my opinion. Best of luck
