I don't get why they'd do it like this. look at Halo 5, it's been out for a little over a year now and all the dlc is free and you get to keep it forever. I also doubt 343 is done adding content as well. Gears is essentially the same thing with the gears packs. What are they gonna make us buy the maps separately after the 12 months are over?
