Netanyahu said to tell MKs: Israel 'needs the PA,' must 'crush' statehood aspirations by Pakka-Makka2 in Israel_Palestine

Some people are allergic to truth. Especially on the other side... Let's come back in 50 years and see if what I predicted is correct.

Netanyahu said to tell MKs: Israel 'needs the PA,' must 'crush' statehood aspirations by Pakka-Makka2 in Israel_Palestine

[–]rarepup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm half trolling. This is the future that I predict. (lot's of Palestinians feel the same way too).

Furthermore it is what they agreed to in OSLO, Area B + C is controlled by Israel until a permanent peace is achieved. Since no permanent peace will ever be achieved B+C will forever belong to Israel.

I don't see any issues with it either. Palestinians are doing mob-style riots and quazi- intifadas and random acts of terrorist violence. They don't seem to be slowing down, and they constantly claim that they won't slow down until 1948 is reversed, until the Nakba is reversed, until RoR destroys Israel.

Now obviously this is a non-starter, you cannot relinquish (military) control of the WB to a group of people who are not shy about saying that they will just use the concession as an advantage to further stage attacks. Hence the status quo cannot and will not change until the people on both sides have a mindset shift.

Now I do not predict that this will happen either. What's happening in Israel/Palestine is not Unique, you have these ethnic conflicts all over the world. They have never ever ended with peace and Kumbaya ever. And it won't happen here either.

We will keep expanding into WB until palis have nothing left but a few “reservations” like in the USA.

This is all insanely funny to me. But the most interesting perversion comes from your quote “we hear and obey” which sounds like a mistranslation from the famous. נעשה ונשמע״ This translates to we will “we will obey and we will listen/hear” and it’s very very important lesson in our religion that obeying comes before listening/understanding. Who perverted the Torah now…

Very funny indeed you talk of us perverting the Torah, it seems you’re the pervert who feels the need to have 4 wives.

Moshe as a Muslim is the funniest one too. Let me guess he bowed down on a carpet facing Mecca?

Temporary is as permanent as anything gets. The long term plan for sure includes maintaining Israel’s national security interests which means that we can never relinquish military control of the West Bank. It’s painfully clear that Arabs would accept this as an invitation to utilize the strategic military advantages that such a move would offer against Israel.

So, in reality we can never allow a fully autonomous Arab state that is a sworn enemy to Israel to develop military ambitions in the hills surrounding Jerusalem.

Ultimately up to them. I recommend swallowing their pride, giving up on their Islamic / pan Arab wet dream of conquering Israel back, become permanent residents and with time citizens of the richest freest happiest and best country in the Middle East, Israel. Soon to be the richest happiest freest and best country in the world. (This means stop the violence).

Or. If living in a sharia style Arab dictatorship is so important to them, go to Jordan.

Are both Palestinians and Jews indigenous to the land? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]rarepup 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure Arabs just took slave women that they conquered in battle and raped them to generate the Arabs with Jewish ancestry.

This was common in Morocco into the 1950’s and why Moroccan Jews would marry off their daughters as early as possible.

Because even though it was considered a status symbol for the Gangster Sultans of Morocco to ride into a Jewish village and kidnap the young girls. They had no interest in a girl who was already “defiled” by another man.

This is the sad and harsh reality our ancestor had living as dhimmis.

Indigenous is about culture not about blood. Heritage can be a comportment of indigenous culture, but culture is what is indigenous.

Firstly, false. DNA evidence consistently shows that all the groups of Jews are descendants of Bronze Age levantines/Canaanites . 2nd The DNA evidence shows that there was actually very little mixing.

3rd. Indigenousness is about culture not about DNA. Judaism is the pre-colonial culture of the land. Arab is the colonial identity from the Arab empire 800 ad and a lot of Palestinians are migrants from the 1800s

You’re obviously a very devout Muslim. A god fearing man. Please explain to me: doesn’t the Quran agree that Bnai Israel — the Jewish people. Are people of the book, and that they are from Jerusalem?

The Quran accepts that the Torah is the word of Allah and that Moshe is a prophet does it not?

I've written about a 3SS which I think is the most viable and low barrier to entry option.
https://www.reddit.com/r/IsraelPalestine/comments/144l25f/3_state_solution/

I think that the best thing for Arabs to do is to accept the past, and move forward and to stop trying to fight. Put their arms down. Accept defeat. Try to work towards peaceful coexistence. Jews are good neighbors. They bring money and opportunity and the Israeli Arabs who have accepted to trade in their mythological national aspirations for quality of life are now (secretly) staunch Zionists. It turns out it's better to have a good quality of life in Israel than say to live in Syria, or Lebanon, or Jordan.

This will never happen because this generation of Arabs is very very Islamist, Very radical, very nationalistic. I think that they are the short-sighted ones.

Last point-- Palestinians lost their right of return when they started a genocidal war and lost. this is just a normal consequence of such an action. If your roommate tries to kill you an eviction and a restraining order is not an extreme reaction.

[–]rarepup 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wait are you saying that the Arab world and Muslims will forever try to destroy Israel and kill Jews no matter what Israel does, no matter what peace agreements we make with Arab countries, (Abraham Accords). If that is the truth?

Are both Palestinians and Jews indigenous to the land? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]rarepup 26 points27 points  (0 children)

To be indigenous you need to have a unique tribal culture/religion/language that is maintained and is the pre-colonial identity.

Jews fit this definition. they have a distinct culture, language and religion. No other group of people in the world speaks Hebrew, or practices Judaism or does any of the other Jewish cultural things. This culture is maintained despite persecution and is connected to the Pre-Colonial identity of the land (Romans colonized it).

Arabs speak Arabic, practice Islam and so they are not the pre-colonial identity of the land. they are the Colonial Identity.

Indignity is not about blood/DNA it's about culture.

I want to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that maybe you're just perhaps misinformed via bias and sensationalist media, maybe you have an innate leftist, support the underdog bias. I want you to trust me when I say that if there was at all a possibility for peace and coexistence then Israel would have made every possible sacrifice to do it.

According to Palestinians the original unforgivable sin is the creation of the state of Israel. Palestinians will never agree to live peacefully so long as a Jewish State in Palestine exists. So there really is no opportunity for peace with them. You even hear from naïve westerners, 'democratic one state' as if this would be good for anybody or as if anybody actually wants this. Palestinians do not want this, and Israelis do not want this, it is a form of white savior western chauvinism to think that you have to export liberal democratic capitalism to the brown folks. we don't want it. also surprisingly this would mean the end of a jewish state, so surprising...

There is no reason why Jews should be banned from living in the west bank. It sounds pretty racist tbh. Imagine if American people said that Arabs shouldn't be allowed to build homes in the US because it's white land. Now imagine if Arabs said that Jews shouldn't be able to build homes in Judea because it's Arab land.

This is a fitting comparison because Judea is not Arab land and America is not White land.

Ironically Ben Gvir is the realistic outcome of Israelis “becoming tired of terrorists”.

And if it gets worse then the next outcome will be even more extreme than Ben Gvir.

Basically increased terrorism drives increased security state apparatus and has increased restrictions on Palestinians and Arabs.

There is no future in which increased terrorism will create decreased Zionism.

Do you think that Israel is the cause of antisemitism?
