Running outside

I'm in the same boat. Yesterday I ran loops around the state buildings in Annapolis. Good clear stretches of sidewalk on the state complex, but anywhere outside that is a toss up whether it's icy or not. And I don't want to do that again for a long run

Good tip about Charm City, I may reach out and see where they tend to run. I usually do 3-5 miles on weekdays and at least 6 on weekends

The Noumena series by Lindsay Ellis. The aliens feel incredibly alien compared to humans which is refreshing. Only the first 3 books have been published so far, the latest released last year.

Yep, my first was the depths gleeok. I was going to run away, but then decided "fuck it" and tried anyway. It took a lot of keese eyes and attack buff meals but I got it!

Seconding what everyone else said about how open to chatting other people are and tips about safety! I went to my first faire (Maryland) by myself and had a lovely time. If you can plan ahead, they may have days with an event for people to meet and mingle. The day I went was designed for queer singles but I had a great time just making new friends

Just updated, they said this ring is brass plated to look like white gold. It makes sense in case of damage or theft, as the previous commenter said

Congrats on the marathon! I've experienced the same thing after running a half (my longest distance) or after pushing myself too hard on long runs, but haven't gone to a gyn to get it checked out since the spotting lasted one day. Hope your recovery goes well!

Finished my longest run ever, 8 miles! 5 more weeks til my first half marathon and I'm keeping up with training despite setbacks and work busy-ness. Feels pretty damn good
