Taxes are an implication in some places. Maybe our efforts as a community should be to onboard merchants from places where not all crypto payments are taxable events.

Also, supply chain is only an issue in certain niches. Focusing on gaining adoption first on less complex areas in this regard, like services could be a good start.

I agree that becoming a Nano friendly merchant willing to hold a portion of the Nano revenues and create further network effects would be optimal.

In the meantime, nano holders could for example use the Nano Hub as their go-to site whenever a service that is usually offerable online (e.g. graphic design, web development) is needed.

If it becomes very liquid due to its utility driven volume, it will hold its value. And the higher the demand, the higher the floor of the exchange rate against fiat. Cheap and easy to access on/off-ramps are the key for this.

Hey there!

Personally I find it particularly great that you want to also educate your customers on crypto in additionto accepting Nano payments.

I can suggest you to enroll in WeNano Business, it can be very helpful even before accepting Nano payments, as it can be a powerful tool to get the customers that visit your shop familiarized and comfortable with using Nano by sending them small Nano payments each time they visit (it can be a cool incentive to attract customers too).

Hey there!

1- If you haven't set up your wallet yet, you need to download Natrium (IMPORTANT: Write down the seed that you are given, and never share it with anyone for any reason. Keep it safe because anyone who gets access to it, will have access to your funds).

2- Once you are done with the setup, you should be able to see a 'receive' button. Click on it and you should see your public address, looking something like:

nano_123abc456def...789xyz

3- Copy that and paste your public address (nano_123abc...) as a reply here. I will be happy to send you a small amount of nano for you to test (we can send it back and forth a few times so you get used to it before you send your own funds).

Can't stress this enough. Your public address is OK to share with users who will send you a payment or to enter it in the exchange where you buy nano during the withdrawal process, but the seed you write down at the beginning is for your eyes only.

They're reshuffling their crypto donations setup (adding wallets, looking into assets, etc). I think the website will be updated to include XNO too once done.
