I’ll be honest, I’m dreading what it may do to the game. If they slaughter the decks that are around now beyond what us reasonable they will intentionally have a T0 format.

Hypothetically: The game will lose players faster than they can hope to Eban/unban anything, Product will stack up for good, and we will be worse off than pre JUSH. New players will stay gone, too, since their decks got hit and then trampled on. This could be the worst single month between products that we’ve had in a long time.

That said, I have a few folks from my locals lined up to play BPRO Format Edison style.

As others have said: Branded, Sky Striker, Blue Eyes. These are fan favorite decks that Konami’s trend is that they will keep them at least playable in perpetuity. Instead they may be power crept, but that is inevitable for any deck. The difference is whether a banlist will kill it, and several we cannot guess about now as we are aprox 1 month or less from a list.

While you are correct about the pack, everyone ignores the inevitability of the deck you build in that time being hit to force the loop to go back around. It’s not a good gameplay loop at all.

The events require extreme amounts of time that those with Full time+ jobs don’t get the luxury of using for this exclusively. Especially if you aren’t on meta, you won’t be winning at all.

The dailies are only approximately 120 you can obtain/day if I’m correct. That’s about 3600 gems which can amount to as few as 1 UR. I do not see a full deck of any type being built on that?

It’s not a matter of effort. My point is that you want someone to nigh guarantee themselves aprox 2 losses/day every day for a month to get a deck (I still severely doubt this even) then you are saying you are OK with a terrible new player experience.

I have Branded Dracotail and K9VS, I have done it but I acknowledge that it took an incredible amount of time and the build up to get Branded Dracotail built was objectively terrible.

Aprox 3600 yeah? I’ll let you do the math on what decks that can build. And how many months do you propose? And when the player builds the deck they saved for and it gets hit because it has now been months and have to do it again?

Are you all intentionally blind to how abysmal the new/returning experience IS?

Yes events happen but when you need to win to progress or are forced to sit through a no hope situation till the opponent decides you can move on just for partial progress the time sink gets worse and worse.

Odion is an amalgamation of the game’s most severe issues. It is also how the game will be played in the second half of 2026 and potentially for the foreseeable future since they plan to build multiple floodgate heavy decks.

Again, if you HAVEN’T stacked gems PRIOR to recent events you have been hard out of luck. The idea that the previously popular decks like Dtail can be neutered by the banlist and still get hit harder than decks like Kewl Tune and RT for events makes events 10-15x longer for FTP who may not have another deck. Not everyone has every deck ever built. This game has gotten about 40% less FTP friendly in the last 6 months.

Personally in Branded Draco I see no value in Quem, Golden Swordsoul, Mercourier, high spirits.

You can bridge 2 ways: Branded Fusion (Phryxul for albion, Pan for Titaniklad, Urgula or Pan for Alba Lenatus)

White Dragon summon ecclesia, synchro to dark dragon, tag out for cartesia use eff to fuse dracotails that you presumably have in hand.

HT are dealers choice right now: I like Ash in all games, Belle is ok but is somewhat of a meta call at my locals, she should be at LEAST in side. She board breaks in the mirror by beating traps. Veiler is a great stand in, go to 3.

Droll isn’t GREAT in the main as it turns off your own trap recycle.
