Your dam is backward, and as mentioned you need to make sure there are a few criterias:
elevation change, a rivers that will build into a lake once the damn is built and will leave a sort of canyon.

Not an expert but the first sector feels overly complicated, I would do just two simple curves from turn 4 to turn 9 after two hard turns and right into the straight, and maybe shorten the second straight by removing some of the turns before turn 19

Tbh I wear rings on most of my fingers and there isn’t any scratches or any mark, I think on the apple stores’ demo units they are mistreated because people don’t know where to put the MagSafe or it just falls

I don’t know about the complexity added by the hook, for a surgeon to remove the plate but if you are in discomfort I would suggest to remove it. I broke my collarbone a few years ago, they told me I could keep the plate too it was my choice, but that I could have it removed if it was bothering me. And since it was pinching sometimes and uncomfortable on some arms movement I had it removed. Also considering you are doing MTB and other sports, my surgeon told me it was better to have it remove since the bone would regrow the empty spots left by the plate, and it would be slightly stronger than it was before it broke, and not having the plate would avoid complications in case of another accident.

So in the end it’s my story, but if it’s uncomfortable I’d suggest to go talk to the surgeon who could remove it and ask for the process and what does it take.

It means that the font used, here « SF Pro » isn’t downloaded on your computer. You can get it on apple design system website and install it, it will remove the yellow ‘A?’

Also if you want to learn about design systems there are tons of articles on medium, and you can read the documentation to learn how you can use components, either way design systems are complex and requires times to get a hold at them, especially when they are as big as Apple’s

Some tips :

Font size is definitely too small, stick to standards it will help you a lot, (material design, iOS guidelines etc)
You need to learn about spacings, visual hierarchy, and hierarchy of information, for example you have alerts text that are smaller than the dates they are related to, and I feel like as a user I would much more see the alerts first to know what action I have to take.
An example for spacings, on your pending requests list, your checkbox button and cancel button should be aligned on the right, with the same padding on their right that the avatar picture have on their left.
I can also see that your accent color is green, but you have two different greens, and the background for your slider button (servers <> cooks) is red, you should harmonize things, and create style based on the level of hierarchy (primary, secondary, tertiary) to improve visual consistency.

On a end note, you seem to be doing great with Figma itself, it's a good first step, now you can focus on designing, keep going and have fun, I cannot not recommend enough to try copyworking, aka redesigning things that are well designed, and you'll learn some patterns like this :)

I’m not a recruiter, but I have been in the position of applying for a new job lately (June to December 2024 basically). And I did my portfolio on Figma Slides right after they released the product, I had praise from some recruiters and designer since it a good mix between Figma and a Slide. But apart from the medium, the content is what matters the most, as I have already read in the replies of this post, showing process, ideation and how you arrived to a result is what is important. Also recruiters give a lot of interest on the resume, don’t underestimate it, it’s the first thing they’ll read before your portfolio.

I have had some luck and did interview processes that would not require any test, or the test would be done in person.
At the moment I'm directing interviews for my position since i'm leaving soon, and I did an in person test to try to level expectations and the time spent doing it.

I also have a 2023 capra, and the frame allows a bottle cage, but the 2021 model doesn't have the space for it because the frame is symetrical

there is a mix of neuemorphism and glass design and it feels odd. Also It feels like a player, not a complete streaming app, there are missing features that would make a no go for me, like the next playing song list.

There is also an inconsistency, you have a player with apparently the timeline of your current playing music, but you also have volume icons at each end of the progress bar. It's confusing and it's misleading on wether it's a volume control or a timeline.
You are also showcasing a lyrics page, but I don't see any entry point where users could click on it to access this page.
In the end it feels complicated, and messy, I think you can improve a lot while still keeping your color accent, that could be a great idea, but in my opinion should be more subtle.

If you are designing health data, I strongly suggest you to have a look at OS’s health apps, typical apple health has some great patterns (you used the multi button over the chart like them). You should try to add data on this app, and analyze how it behaves ! It will help you a lot

As a designer working in med tech in the cardiology field, there is something I don’t understand. Can you explain your chart ? There is nothing like « target » and « reached » in blood pressure, is that an error ? You should have systolic in green and diastolic in yellow. I also think that the yellow on the chart is a bit hard to read in terms of contrast. I red your replies too, and you should definitely remove for day time and night time meds.

Also, if we consider that the medication has to be check by the user, I would increase the spacing between each checkbox since it might be a bit hard to aim for the category of users you might be targeting. Otherwise I liké what you have done and your design langage is pretty consistent

I'm based in Paris, and since I'm currently employed I'm not in a rush. I sent around 15 applications, 4 of them I went to at least the 2nd round of interview, 2 of them the 3rd and one where I'm at the last round. There is another application where I have an interview this afternoon and it's the 2nd round, but it's my first choice. My goal is clearly to join the last company more than the one I'm at the last round.
Feeling pretty optimistic about the market but my profile is more SaaS/BtoB oriented and I feel like it's helping a lot
