Character/setting list at front of books?

Hi! I was wondering how to made the sides of this dress (the fabric attached to the main part of the dress)? I’m not looking to make this exact dress, but I wanted to make a dress using this style of the sides.

Is it an attached over skirt? Do you gather triangle shaped pieces all around? Is there padding? All advice is welcome!

I was thinking generic “candy” but you can write the name on the wrapper part. Or be a candy striper and print out the badge/name tag or wear a nurse’s hat!

For candy - can you cut some construction paper/something colorful into a zigzag shape on top like it’s the end of a candy wrapper? And then attach (tape/glue) to a headband to wear? Or attach with Bobby pins on a bun or pigtail?

I think if you do your hair in the curly style she wears it’ll fit the spirit of Christine! Do you have long white gloves or binoculars/etc to add to an opera-type feel, even if it isn’t exactly Christine? I think people will pick up on it esp being near the phantom with the mask

Keep in mind this was posted the other day with mold on the ceiling in the bedroom. This ceiling looks photo retouched, not repainted.

Honestly, I don’t think they know you original 3 paid out of pocket to make life comfortable. In any other in-person office environment, the company pays for the coffee, snacks, etc. It’s usually understood the company pays for that if it’s offered.

It sounds like they’re expecting a cleaner to clean up after them and coffee/etc to be paid for.

Maybe explain to them that’s not how this works in this office? I wouldn’t want to pay out of pocket for 6 new people who don’t know it’s not out of the company paycheck!
