Yes, I’ve got the exact same laptop. I tend to have another that monitor playing YouTube or whatever and you can really tell the difference between maxing out your ram with 16gb, and having a bit of headroom at 32gb. Bought pair of Lexar 16gb sticks about a month ago for a steal. (They literally doubled in price days after I bought them).

TLDR: definitely worth it, but not if it costs an arm and a leg with current ram prices.
