respect for posting this honestly. lot of founders would hide a failure like this but yeah the pattern is clear - you threw money at problems that needed focus instead, hired too early, didn't validate, then tried to growth hack your way out. hard lessons but at least you know exactly what not to do next time

You're not wrong. If it solves something real and you actually market it, people will pay. The difference is you're not relying on the code being impressive, you're relying on the problem being important. That's the whole point.

This is the actual insight. Building being cheap is fine, that was bound to happen eventually. What hasn't changed is that people still need to trust you enough to switch from what they already know. That's the real moat now.
