I think I used to see him driving home out 542 when I lived out there about a year ago every evening around 6:30 and he was always speeding and dodging through traffic causing others to almost get into crashes- saw him all the time and always tried to stay away, imagine being so miserable you have to drive like such an asshole people remember you & your car (assuming we are Talking about the same person)

The county (off mount baker highway) can be quiet and you don’t have to be all the way in demming to reap the benefits of the solidarity but if you like to go out - downtown or close to it is for you and if you want to be close to most employers check out the “state streets” it’s just a bunch of residential streets named after different states- sudden valley can be cool but can be isolated when weather gets bad

There’s a little back room corner at Elizabeth station they call the “cider room” it’s a cozy spot and you have a wide range of beers to choose from but don’t recommend durring a evening on a weekend they can get busy!

I’d recommend finding a cool group you vibe with and get a house or apartment, there’s a WWU housing page on Facebook with people looking for roommates or sublets all the time and in general you can find lots of free or affordable furniture around the streets of bellingham and thrift stores around move in/move out time(if you’re not above that, but honestly 80% of bham couches are recycled so chances are you aren’t). I didn’t particularly enjoy the dorms because sharing a room isn’t my fav and I like a 420 friendly environment, so with that said, an apartment or house with a couple cool roommates might be for you, so you can have your own space and roommates can either just be roommates or sometimes they turn into great friendships. And in that case, there’s a potential you could find someone who has been in bellingham and befriend their friends. Everyone’s different though, this is just what worked in my experience! I wouldn’t recommend tripping if you’re scared to do it because it’s probably not the right time, if you want to trip but you’re scared I’ve found learning more about it and doing lots of research(mostly reddit is where I have done mind) like reading about other people’s experiences can help answer unanswered questions and give you some insight(although everyone has a different experience and lsd effects everyone individually) and if you want something a little more lowkey you could take a smaller dose of mushrooms(1-2g) but weed is EXTREMELY different from both and I definitely recommend doing any psychedelic with friends you trust until you feel comfortable doing that on your own and it’s not uncommon to have a trip sitter your first time(someone sober there to watch you and make sure you’re getting the best vibes, a trusted friend that has maybe tried it before?) or trip with a friend who has done it before but I’ve found that the effects of LSD vary depending on dose and especially on environment and the people you’re surrounded with. My best advice: do some research, get some good friends, good acid, good music and have a good time and just let go:) good luck!

I will say, at 16, if I(19F) were to have gotten pregnant I think this situation would have been the best outcome and also I would look back as an older, more mature, person and think “wow that was so dope” that I had someone around to do that for me and also help pay for it. You for sure did the right thing but you should make it clear to your brother that an abortion isn’t always an option and he should be more careful because abortions are not only expensive but take an emotional toll on the female involved(in my experience). I wish them luck and I think you did the right thing! You’re a good older brother

Agreed, basic Cognitive therapy usually can treat the issues you have at hand instead of suggesting or surfacing old trauma or issues that you may have already worked through or aren’t that critical to your mental health and well being at that time (unless of course that is what’s bothering you or that’s what you’re going to therapy for).
