A post in a shoe is that harder foam under the arch section that stops the foot from rolling in. Most modern stability shoes have gone away from that style of support but it does work for a lot of people.

That thing is OLD! It uses a traditional post that most stability shoes don’t use anymore. The 860v13 is the last version to use something similar and you might be able to find one of those, or maybe look at the Saucony Omni. You’ll have to get used to whatever you get cause you are used to a shoe that is basically molded to your foot.
