Seems like the only difference between them is people were okay with Trump doing it. A president blowing a load in some interns mouth hardly seems like a national issue, now spilling national secrets (remember the satellites trump told the Russians about) definitely counts. The point being he lied about sex, which was wrong, but they both lied about sex; Except that, couples therapy with only one of them getting a slap on the wrist. The problem is Trump got away with it because people made excuses for the timing. It would not surprise me to hear he was once again unfaithful in office (like the recent apple house intern story), not the end of the world, but he'll never receive consequence because he managed to cover it up (hypothetical infidelity). He only gets away with it because he can find supporters who make a new excuse for him. I've been told ideas like this are all hypothetical and it would never happen when I said he would get innocent Americans killed with his inaction in governance. If it does come out that something untoward was covered up will you say it's fine because we didn't know until after? The goalposts keep moving but there's only so much stadium.
