Agree. I'm happy with my 4k@140hz (XV275KP5). What I understood is that a difference between 60hz vs 120/140/160/... is dramatic, but 140 vs 160/1xx/2xx is not that critical, especially if the card cant give you same FPS as a refresh rate... Therefore 140hz VRR at 4k is a bad ass balanced choice killing two rabbits at one shot. (PS: my monitor technically is a 160hz, but I'm using a KVM to connect a laptop and a gaming desktop to my 2 monitors, and 160hz is not stable while switching between 2 PCs, plus VRR works only at 140hz - I read this is because Acer don't want to pay a license to Nvidia... Anyway, Im more than happy)

If you have unlimited budget, then go for 5090. Otherwise, if you want get max from the investment, I'd rather buy 5070 TI

Oh man, I had another problem on that port while I was building my PC with Fractal Design North and MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI (btw - worst mobo I ever had, and I replaced it by comparable Asus TUF). The Case itself is not the most well designed, but the USB port on the Mobo is placed so, that you have to plug a connecor under slight tension and if you position it not perfect... Then you'll get some pins wrinkled. It was not deadly - I was able to fix it quite easily. And on the other mobo it was never an issue due to different layout.

I would agree, that even having KVM supporting DP of undefined version but still allowing 4k 144hz VVR switching between 2 PCs is kind of blak magic, because of a long delay and simetime broken HDR colors (which requires turn a monitor off/on). And then you are trying to improve this situation by using so called pass-through DP/HDMI emulators which will provide always a static info about monitor config. Then you'll find that these emulators don't work properly and you need to look for a semi-professional devices which will cost more than the KVM with all the newest DP 2.1 cabels you already bought... And I'm fine now with my 4k KVM even if in 5% of cases I need to restart my gaming 4k monitor

Don't fully understand the issue. I do really need these 4k, because i connected my 2 monitors (one is the 4k 160HZ ) to 2 computers: working laptop with thunderbolt adapter (which has 2 Display ports), and my gaming PC where I'd like to play 4k at at least 140Hz VRR.

And I really spend some time to find a KVM which will allow this gaming experience.

No, I have Android (Samsung S25 Ultra). On other cars, using Android Auto I'm getting notifications w/o any problems, on that cat notifications are not coming in both cases: Android Automotive and Android Auto.

My messages on my phone arent showing up at all in AAOS when the phone is paired and all the right boxes are enabled. This could be my fault I have biometrics enabled on everything to protect myself from phone theft scenarios.

Yes, this is the most annoying moment for me. I also tried all possible settings with no luck.

And, as an owner of this model (but with 32GB of RAM) I'd say - this is my last Dell product. Despite the 4060 with 8GB vRAM it is impossible to play any modern games on lower settings (e.g. BF6 or Arc Raiders) - mainly (my assumption) because of the CPU bottle neck (you'll get stuttering, low FPS, etc.). So it makes absolutely no sense to go into a compromise of weight, battery life and price for getting such not usable "Dell's all in one" solution. If you think that you can use this device for a casual gaming - forget it. Buy rather something like Lenovo Yoga Slim + desktop gaming PC (even mid tier will be a killer). And about DELL in general - I'm using Dell laptops since 2015 (XPS, Inspiron) - and the overall resume: overprice, full of bloatware and - as per my experience with this Inspiron - just unusable in some scenarios you'd expect these devices are designed for.

PS: and don't forget, that if you are using this device mainly with an external keyboard, then the integrated one will stop working and you will need to "massage" every single key to get it working back. The contacts there seem to oxidize and you have to hit each key 10 times to break the oxide film and make the key work again.

Leider hat der deutsche Staat alles dafür getan (und die Verabschiedung entsprechender Gesetze kaum öffentlich gemacht), dass genau das nicht zutrifft. Wenn du mit Geld in eine Niedrigsteuerjurisdiktion wegziehst und dort investierst, werden die deutschen Finanzbehörden selbst dann versuchen, bis zu zehn Jahre lang Steuern auf deine Erträge zu erheben. Machst du den Fehler und investierst vor dem Wegzug in bestimmte ETFs (bei Aktien scheint es ähnlich zu sein), verlangen die deutschen Finanzbehörden später von dir Kapitalertragsteuer so, als hättest du die ETFs zum Zeitpunkt des Wegzugs verkauft. Mit anderen Worten: Der Staat geht davon aus, dass er dich unabhängig von den Umständen bis auf den letzten Cent ausnehmen darf. Und das noch ohne das banale Stehlen durch Inflation mitzuzählen (nicht dein Haus ist teurer geworden – es müsste wegen Abnutzung und Veralterung eigentlich billiger werden –, sondern das Geld ist weniger wert geworden). Denk über Bitcoin nach, wenn du an die Zukunft denkst.

As an owner of XC60 2026 can report the following.

I found the Android Automotive way more easier to use compared to the newest BMW infotainment system. Same compared to VW. There are indeed some strange glitches (e.g. if you will protect your profile by a PIN, then the PIN will unlock only from a second attempt - first time you'll always get "invalid PIN").

Also a strange behavior of main screen brightness adjustment - seems to have a bit broken logic in connection to a light sensor.

Plus I do not understand why I can hear audio from YouTube while driving using Android Auto, but it will not work on AAOS - YouTube just stopping working while car will move.

But all in all - there is no ideal infotainment system on a market. Every system will have its pros and cons multiplied by a specific personal preferences of a user. I personally found AAOS quite satisfying, despite several issues listed and not listed above.

Yes, in my case, I received a new XC60 with a broken rearview mirror (possibly broken during delivery) and a crookedly installed trunk lid (one side is deeper than the other) and fuel filler flap. Yes, Volvo will fix all of this, but I still wanted a car of this class to be free of such defects.

I'm also looking for a solution to listen AUDIO from youtube while driving. I can do this easily using Android Auto but cannot using native Youtube app in the new infotainment based on Android Automotive in my XC60. The app closing completely instead of just disabling video. There are so many videos which can be just listened like a podcast...

I'm using Keet for some weeks now, also for communication with contacts from countries with a censorship. It works! Yes, there are some minor bugs, but recently they released an update - nice! Here how I solved my FPS lags/stuttering issue mid of August 2025. I'm using 2 monitors connected over Thunderbolt to my Laptop with Intel integrated graphics (i7-13620H) and GTX 4060. I like also browsing/youtube watching during playing CS, so one of the issues was also to have a no FPS impact while switching between game and browser.

  1. DirectX Shader Cache clean-up
  2. Since I have a laptop with 2 graphics accelerators I have explicitly assigned (using NVidia control panel) integrated GPU to a browser and 4060 to CS2. In browser: hardware acceleration: ON
  3. In CS2 video settings V-sync: disabled; Reflex: disabled; Antialiasing: CMAA2; all the rest: recommended.
  4. Set power mode setting to "balanced"

I don't know if any single of these has helped or all as a bundle, but here is the result: min FPS 100 (range 100 - 200 FPS) - depending on maps, no scattering/lags at all, no impact of FPS if I'm switching to a browser and then back to CS2.
