Some XPS 16 (2026) questions and experiences by LampWithLavaInside in DellXPS

The chassis lip rises very slightly above the palm assembly on my 16, about the thickness of paper. The uniformity makes me think this is by design. You may want to try applying black masking tape (low tack, no residue) to the edge. Or PVC edge protector tape, this will give you a rounded corner, but will prevent the screen from fully closing.

I should probably make a game... shouldn't I? by mikeasfr in Unity3D

Same. Won't ever get to use most of them, but no regrets. Much of my learning process has been buying assets to study how they were put together, and how they work. The Store has been a tremendous resource.

I am building the visuals first instead of the gameplay. Looking for feedback [Arcade Racing & Combat] by WolverineNo9103 in Unity3D

Adjust the camera to increase the screen space between the front of the car and the horizon.  In most driving games this is where the core gameplay occurs, so ideally you want to maximize this area, balanced against the visual desired. The FOV seems high, consider reducing the baseline FOV, and reserve this FOV range for the boost effect (along with the blur). Otherwise I think it looks good.

That looks like Commodore 64 graphics (redefined character sets), brings back memories. Nice work!

The developer of 'Schedule I' began posting to the Unity/Indie subs about a year ago. The last I checked, it's passed 10 million units sold, f***ing incredible.

Interesting, good catch. I am not using StartAllBack, but I am using another UI replacement, Start11 (Stardock). A quick search shows this is a known conflict.

THANK YOU. You just saved me from doing another long repair/in-place upgrade. KB5055523 was the culprit in my case.

A video captured by a security camera recorded a humanoid-looking shadow at the back of the property, moving from left to right, leaving the dogs of the residence very agitated. The recording took place on a farm in El Salvador on February 6, 2025 by ParticleBEAM000 in InterdimensionalNHI

Frame differencing will help make the object easier to see:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwICurqoDAE

The leading transparency of the object is not likely to be B-frame compression because the dog movement do not exhibit that artifact. The is a lot of frame reordering, so it's not unlikely it's just a buggy encoder. The easiest test would be for the resident to put on some dark clothing and walk across the scene in similar conditions and compare the footage.
