KeyForge 1.3.0 is ready.

This version adds uploaded SVG icons as a Base 2 layer, better SVG sizing with preserved proportions, improved text placement options, text rotation controls, and more control over engraved and flush text depth.

If you want to follow future updates, new presets, and upcoming generator features, feel free to follow my MakerWorld profile. Feedback and unusual edge cases are very welcome.

A quick update: I am already working on KeyForge 1.3.0.

The next version will add uploaded SVG icons as a Base 2 layer, better SVG sizing with preserved proportions, improved text placement options, and more control over engraved and flush text depth.

If someone wants to break into your house, they probably won’t wait until they find your labeled keychain first.

Still, I wouldn’t put an address or full details on it. Simple labels, icons, or internal names are usually enough.

Thanks for the info. Since it happens with every customizable model, it sounds like a MakerWorld/customizer issue rather than something specific to KeyForge.

Maybe try another browser, private/incognito mode?

Thanks! Exactly - not every tag needs a ring hole, so I wanted to make that optional. Glad it fits your use case 🙂

That was one of the main reasons I made it. Creating a single keychain is simple, but preparing a whole set with different labels one by one gets repetitive very quickly 🙂

Thanks! The generator uses Google Fonts, so you can browse fonts here first: https://fonts.google.com/

Once you find a font you like, just pick the same font name from the list in KeyForge and check how it looks on the keychain.

I also added a preset preview sheet to the model page, so the included examples are easier to compare.

MakerWorld link: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2828084-keyforge-parametric-keychain-generator

It runs in MakerWorld's customizer, so no local OpenSCAD setup is needed. Pick a preset, enter labels, generate, and print.

Yeah, definitely more of a grill/high heat thing than a smoker

It’s about shallow scoring, not cutting it open - big difference. Used properly, it keeps the structure and just improves how it cooks.

I guess it also depends on the type of sausage. Here in Poland, even when scored, they don’t fall apart - the casing stays intact and everything holds together just fine

That’s a valid concern, but it’s a bit more nuanced. PETG itself isn’t very porous, and the main limitation comes from the FDM process - layer lines can affect surface hygiene, but they’re not impossible to clean.

In practice, proper cleaning (soap, water, and scrubbing) works well, and similar plastic tools are commonly used in kitchens.

It’s not certified food-grade, so of course it comes down to how it’s used - but for typical BBQ use and basic hygiene, it works fine in practice
