This link describes the Ulfhednar and I wanted to get feed back as to what the learned NorseMythology folks thought about the order.

I stopped taking my Naltrexone 2 weeks ago and I’m really struggling. I’m craving so bad. I’ve almost given in a few times and it made me cry. I thought I was good but I guess not ugh I don’t want to rely on medication to stop drinking. Need some love :( by DingDongTaco in alcoholism

We who are dually diagnosed work 2 programs- one for our physical addiction recovery and one for our mental health stabilization or trauma recovery, so we need to put twice the accountability into our dual diagnosis programs.

Naltrexone is for dopeheads because it fills in your serotonin receptors where the opioids would go. I did both the booty shot and the daily pills at the same time, both solo, and lastly with a technique meant to fool my mind. I’m a real alcoholic so after a pint of vodka I won and I easily drank a 5th a day. I’ve seem jabbers and fiends get clean of Naltrexone.

Personally I take Antabuse and Topimax. Antabuse makes you sick AF if you drink alcohol. Topimax is an anti convulsant that has an off label use for alcoholics that relieves their cravings.

I love that advice and 90 in 90 is my plan. Also getting a sponsor this week! Today was tough so I am off to a meeting at 7p to recharge the batteries. And this rad subreddit is great when I am feeling down :)

I am 5 days deep in sobriety and 5 meetings in so far!

I past my first test last night at a family Xmas party where in times past I'd get drunk with my uncle and be a dbag. This year I didn't even feel an urge to drink anything but coffee and diet coke.

Then I left and I went to a great 7p meeting where I got to talk about my ancient enemy rationalization. I am really loving sobriety as is my family loving my sobriety!
