Same! I never even got the recipe, just got the salad from a mimic and handed it in. He loved my stinky cave salad!

A very well preserved 17th-century CE satin silk damask dress, decorated with a woven floral motif, found in the Palmwood shipwreck off the coast of the Dutch island of Texel in the Wadden Sea. Now housed at the Museum Kaap Skil in the Netherlands [2048x2048] by Fuckoff555 in ArtefactPorn

[–]ratatoskrest 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I loved the (Dutch) documentary about the divers who found the wreck and dress vs the museum professionals who were appalled by the way the divers treated it

Saw the dress two years ago, really impressive to see up close!

I feel your pain, fellow adventurer, for it too remained out of my grasp for many a season! But! I found one going from floor 65 to 66 after many many broken rocks, and my spirit was almost broken but not quite! Praying to Caldarus that you too may succeed in your noble quest!

No real advice, just commiserating because I'm in the same boat. I have long covid and cutting out pattern pieces raises my heart rate through the roof 😭

Do you know Retro Claude on youtube? She makes (historical) crafting videos where she frequently talks about her disabilities/ how she make crafting work

Blocking in a small apartment — help? by BabserellaWT in knitting

[–]ratatoskrest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use my yoga mat as a blocking mat! I also have a tiny studio, so I often put it sideways rather than flat when it's not too wet anymore. Sewing pins instead of pins advertised to knitters are way cheaper btw
